- Well appointed room. Crisp look. Ample. Free parking, WiFi etcetera. Good rate at booking.
Cons -
- All good.
- We were in a very noisy part of hotel lots of doors opening and banging during night as we were close to external back exit onto a passage way & they were people leaving after a function & going up to rooms late ,Housekeeping store across the way so noisy again at 7 . Maybe in planned upgrade soft closure on doors or new tighter fitting doors on rooms directly into lobbies would make a huge difference , it’s a busy hotel with functions so it’s going to have a lot of activity late at night .
- Booked a table for dinner at reception but they didn’t have a reservation when we went to the bar, the staff member wasn’t very friendly and didn’t seem to want to bother

Booked a table for dinner at reception but they didn’t have a reservation when we went to the bar, the staff member wasn’t very friendly and didn’t seem to want to bother
Hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. I didn't have the opportunity to visit the restaurant or spa. But I was relatively happy with the breakfast. The standout, was the quality of the coffee.
The fruit salad was not very tasty and contained mostly unripe fruit. Pancakes and bacon were OK, but tasted like they'd been made in advance and reheated. Generally, the selection of buffet breakfast items could be improved. Also, the TV in the room was hard to navigate and figure out.
The only complaint we had which really ruined our stay was. we booked for dinner, thinking that it was in a restaurant as we were not told otherwise. We were away for our wedding anniversary so we wanted it to be special. Instead the dinner was in the bar! We dressed up and made a effort only to find we were dining in an over lit, no ambiance, rugby match blaring, all others dressed very casually that we felt completely over dressed. We made the most of it but we're very disappointed. We travelled all the way from Wexford to eat in a bar!
Tell people when booking dinner that they will be eating in the bar
Breakfast was lovely We only wanted a snack in the evening and this was not available We just wanted a sandwich or a wrap
I didn’t like the fact that I couldn’t get a sandwich in the eveningWe had to go to the local filling station for it and dine in our room. There wasn’t a cushion to be seen in the foyer for those of us who like a support cushion,There was only one chair in our double bedroom. And most of all we were asked to pay on checking in.That was asking to pay for a product before you receive it.The manager came to our rescue in that case after one of the supervisors and her Aide de com refused to act and be happy with pre authorisation.
Breakfast was very good. Hotel had good car park.
Rooms have very little privacy, you can clearly hear conversations from adjoining rooms. There were inner joining door to the next room, letting all the sounds come through. Same goes for the main doors. In general, room looked refurbished but only using paint and wall paper. Main door, bathroom door were from the 50's. Old and loud.
Well I stay in this hotel often as i attend many concerts, always very pleasant staff great food and very organised
Would like crispy streaky rashers on my pancakes instead of back rashers..
Good
No heat in the room and no heat at all in the bathroom. The tv that no Netflix the bed was good the window noisey the breakfast was good
Experience from start to finish was fantastic. I was there for a wedding and the staff are so efficient and friendly. The hotel has a lovely welcoming feeling, like visiting family...it feels like a home away from home. The hotel was so warm, I loved it. Food was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced, gorgeous dinner and breakfast. On the day of the wedding the staff were fantastic and amazing. You can tell that they host a lot of weddings. Wedding food was amazing...the most melt in your mouth beef I've had and all food came out fast and was hot. I've been told the locals find it hard to pass up this hotel for events, weddings and just food in general and tasting it I understand why.Great location as well, just off a main road...no worries about country driving on small roads. Motorway/main road driving from Dublin...the dream!
Nothing to complain about...would stay again in a heartbeat.
The staff were quick to advise me the kitchen closed at 6.00. I was able to arrive before that , eat, then register to stay as I’d booked online.
Bar staff was poor and . No late bar and poor knowledge on how to deal with and speak to customers. Bedroom was too warm hot ..food was v good .Young girl at breakfast was excellent. Short staff but she was doing everything to keep it flowing
Lovely comfortable place. Friendly staff and a great breakfast.

Room was excellent, space wise and so clean. Breakfast was lovely, hot food was perfect.
The only thing was paying €25 extra for the bath. Appreciated the bath, understand why there was the charge because the bath was so large!
Everything was perfect lovely staff great entertainment brilliant service and the most comfortable bed looking forward to going back again.
