The fact that it had no roof or windows.

The builders skips and lack of furnishings.

A small village, lively local pub scene. The breakfast as good, very pleasant cook / server, dining area was nice.

Carpeting of halls old and dirty, rooms slightly better.

The food was good, the wait staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. The people in the bar were great fun, welcoming and we had good conversations.

The price reflects the facility. The hotel is not luxurious, but is spotlessly clean. It's staff are it's biggest asset. Next to the excellent food.

The lack of an outdoor area.

One night stay Was greeted by a lovely friendly young woman, who helped me up with our bagsJust two flights of stairs. The accommodation is separate from the bar you could hear the music but it stopped about 10.30/11 wasn't bad. The accommodation is basic but good the beds were comfortable .We had food in the bar that night and it was lovely the bar was very busy good wee buzz about it. Breakfast the nxt morning was lovely and the girl that prepared it and served it was so nice . We enjoyed our stay.

People and staff were friendly, breakfast was wonderful, location was handy

Kept awake in room 8 to early hours in the morning because of doors banging and noice from the yard etc. Hallway and carpet very dirty and smelly.

Terrible place with so much wrong with it. The carpet on the stairs was filthy and the carpet in the room wasn't much better. One hand towel in the bathroom and this was torn. Hot tap slow to come on and then scalding hot. No chain on the sink stopper. Toilet cistern extremely slow to fill and difficult to flush. No milk in the room for the tea/coffee. Tiny TV on top of the wardrobe but no remote control. Breakfast was served in the hotel next door. The staff here were not immediately aware that we were booked for breakfast. Luckily it wasn't raining or we would have been soaked walking to breakfast.Staff in the bar were friendly. We feel like we should get a refund for this awful experience but the pub where we checked in wasn't open the morning we left so couldn't raise our issues with anyone. Don't stay here. Find somewhere else. Literally anywhere else. It's not a hotel despite how it's described.

The room was very clean and the breakfast was excellent. We wanted a late breakfast and were offered it in the bar after 11am. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Everything the staff were so friendly and welcoming the room was so comfortable and the breakfast was 10 out 10

Centrally located and easy to get to. A convenient pub on the ground floor. Friendly service staff.

Staff where so friendly. Food excellent. Room and bed very comfortable. Great location for sight seeing. Will be booking again
