Pros +
- The facilities and tranquility of the venue.
- All facilities, attractions, and materials within the resort appear to have recently undergone upgrades or refurbishment. Everything presents as pristine and in impeccable condition.
- pool was clean. our room was clean. utensils were clean.we enjoyed our stay
Cons -
- It seemed like restaurants were understaffed for the December holidays which generally is a busy period for most resorts. Some staff looked overworked and unhappy. Maybe some extra hands would have helped. When management was present the staff seemed more energetic in completing their duties. The Kingdom Resort is a lovely venue and I wouldn't mind coming through again.
- The absence of showers in the vicinity of the swimming pools is noted, and improved accessibility to the bar and personnel for poolside patrons would be beneficial.
- the food from the kisk was not soo good.

the food from the kisk was not soo good.
The staff were very friendly and able to assist with anything we needed in the room.
The buffet was not enjoyable. The food was below standard; it tasted like something you could eat at home and lacked flavor altogether. I'm sure the chef can do better."
The location is very good, few minutes if you want to visit Sun City.
The checking in is very late and checking out is early.
the resort was well located for a business conference at Sun City. The resort layout was pleasant, I was able to go for a run along the perimeter and then onto the road outside
AT the time of my stay there was construction underway, not great but I do understand it has to be done sometime!
Clean room. Friendly staff. Great restaurant.
I liked everything.
Not much but the water park is decent.
Being charged for everything even the volleyball field while electricity is on a prepaid meter.
The shower was leaking onto the bathroom floor. Had to put towels down to stop the water. Not enough light in the bathroom. The fridge in the room makes too much noise at night
It was clean, private and the pool and water park was amazing
The walls are thin. You can hear everything sound from the next room.
Family suitable, lovely, clean and safe
The room and shower were big, clean and beautiful.loved the whole resort is nice Land quite.pool side is the best part
Tv did not connect to the network so was not able to watch or play music
Ok
They only told us after the booking was paid for, that the restaurant facilities were downgraded ie limited choice of dinner and breakfast.
Room i in good condiotion but they dont provide drinking water from day two. ACTUALLY we suffered thirsty since we arrived a bit late and the restaurant where you can buy water was closed.Since I booked via Booking.com, there was no option for breakfast only to learn this hapens in their official website. The wifi is pathetic. You can rely on it for work
The wifi was mopst the time off. Unreliable for work and one has to use mobile data that was too expensive. The drinking water issue is beyond talking---this is a basic life need. Tell people early so that they can purchase drinking water.
Our chalet was beautiful and it felt like home away from home. So comfortable loved it.
All the nice activities were under construction, so there were limited things to do. The restaurant as well, we ordered takeaways and the hotdog was burnt, the wrap was so soggy and the veggies inside were not fresh I had to throw it away...Oh and the rain but thats not your fault. We couldn't go for the game drive...
Great activities on the resort. Close to sun city and there’s a free shuttle running every hour
Early check out and restaurants closes early
I liked the chalet rooms as they accommodated my family very well.
I didn’t like the villa rooms as they were too close to other guests.
The Kingdom Resort is exactly how it's advertised. Their staff is quite attentive and quick to respond. The rooms are kept clean with fresh linen. The facility has beautiful views and so much to do inside the resort itself.
We loved the location and the variety of activities offered at The Kingdom Resort. The surroundings are beautiful, peaceful, and ideal for families looking to relax and enjoy quality time together. The resort has great potential to deliver an exceptional experience.
Our recent stay at The Kingdom Resort was unfortunately below expectations — particularly regarding service at the restaurant. Despite having many staff members, service was notably slow, with orders taking excessively long to arrive. It was also disappointing to observe what appeared to be preferential treatment, where certain guests’ orders (particularly white counterparts) were prioritized ahead of others. While the resort positions itself as family-friendly, there were no dedicated kids’ meal options available, which made dining inconvenient for families with young children. The billing process also needs improvement — combining dine-in, drinks, and takeaway meals under a single bill is needed. Streamlining this would greatly improve the customer experience. In terms of housekeeping, rooms should be cleaned while guests are out for breakfast or activities, not during their downtime. Fresh linens and towels should be a given — not something guests must request. Clean, white towels and changed bedding reflect basic hospitality standards, especially when the room rate exceeds R3,500 per night.Overall, while the resort has great potential, operational and service improvements are urgently needed to match the pricing and brand promise.
The staff we met were efficient and friendly. They were all willing to assist us, including the reception, housekeeping, and the restaurant. It was heart-warming, given the number of times one encounters bad service. The resort is very nice, although it was busy, it did not feel crowded like Sun City can get.
Whilst the room was comfortable, it was quite small for the rate charged. The bathroom was a good size by comparison. Please consider putting a toilet spray in the toilet.
