Hotel Chassalla

You can enjoy the breakfast at a very easy atmosphere!

The smoke smell at the lobby, and aisles deprives the value of the stay.

As this was my second time into this hotel, yet it has kept the same good level of comfort and hospitality as before. I would definitely book again in this hotel anytime I visit Kassel in future. This is what I like about it as well as the excellent breakfast it offers which is quite unique for an affordable extra price. I like the hotel location on the main street where you can access the trams and taxis and restaurants. Also the downtown and the main train station are just about 10 minutes by tram from the hotel.

Friendly welcome, perfectly clean room, comfortable bed, helpful staff who speak perfect english, excellent breakfast.

A dog walking about in the bar/ restaurant. Whimsical exterior. Wifi didn't work.

Very helpful. I ended up in hospital, they extended my stay without any issues.

The rooms that we had were moderately sized and comfortable. The staff member who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. The hotel offers a very well-priced breakfast, which was very generous. Having some parking on site was great, however it was rather small and extremely busy - we were lucky that someone left just as we were arriving, otherwise we would not have found a spot.

Excellent breakfast, very nice and helpful staff. 30 minutes walk from the old town with many bars and restaurants in the direct area.

Room was a little too warm with no way to alter that.

The entrance to the parking lot was very narrow and the parking lot was also very narrow and I almost hit my car.

Nice and clean, breakfast was really good. Beds are comfortable but the pillow is not.

Parking was a mission and there was only one thing pillow. Also no airco, so don't want to know how warm the room is when it is hot outside. Outdated

Free parking at hotel premises (although tight and limited).Good breakfast; not that much variety, but had scrambled egs and bacon.Basicaly everything what you might need and expect in a hotel.

Overal budget feeling. Everything was clean and in good condition, but looked cheap. But that should not be a surprise in a budget hotel.

Comfortable bed, clean bathroom. Plenty convenient location and very helpful staff.

The room was clean and tidy. bed was comfy. Breakfast choice was good.

The shower was over the bath with a curtain, not a problem for me but could be for somebody less physically able to step into the bath. The shower head was loose and had to be hand held to be of use. A crack in the bath had been repaired with a strip of black 'gaffer' tape. A strong smell of stale tobacco smoke in the entrance to the hotel.

It has a very good and comprehensive breakfast for an additional 5 Euros per head.

No in room tea/ coffee making facilities.

The towels are not washed. It is also specified in the hotel. I did not know that, otherwise I wouldn't have come... My girl got pimples the next day... and small bottles of shampoo...
