Hotel am Rathaus

I needed a small room for the night and that's what I got! I'm pretty sure it is the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in, but I still was able to easily move around and do everything I needed. I arrived after the check-in desk was closed, but the machine at the entrance and the instructions I was given made my arrival super easy.

I knew it going in, but just keep in mind - there is no elevator!

Small room in very central location

The WiFi was not very reliable.

The Location is really amazing, just alongside the mains square and city hall.

The Price was a bit too much for the size of the room.

Room was slightly bigger than I expected. Late check-in was very easy and useful. Great location, right near the historical city center.

Breakfast not being included whereas there are still pamphlets in the room and signage referring to this is confusing. No lift for easier access to rooms. . The bathroom is a little tight. .However, overall the room and bed was comfortable and there was enough hot water, we were happy staying there .

all over. very small bathroom, I reserved a room 18 m2 but I got a 12m2 room, the coffee bods was not drinkable. I will not stay there anymore

The location is superb, the room was clean, we had a late check-in and it also went fine - contactless. Very satisfied with the stay.

Had everything needed for both a nights stay or longer. Wasn't expecting facilities to cook etc... which was a bonus. Parking onsite was helpful, as nothing available in the public parking areas.

Shelf by the front door, which I managed to hit my head on. Not the shelf's fault, but a bit close for my big nogging

Made space in there garage for our 3 motorbikes

Hotel is in very good location, had private parking for one. Host did not speak english, but it wasn't a problem.Room was clean and renovated. Breakfast places are just around The corner.

Very easy to reach, plenty of parking. And directly connected to walking area of town centre.

Simple check-in and check-out procedures. Location within Kassel city centre.

I always eat breakfast; usually muesli and tea. It was inconvenient to leave the hotel without having eaten breakfast and then to look for a bakery for breakfast. I looked into 4 bakeries in the immediate area near the hotel. Only one of them offered breakfast which was bread and cheese and a coffee, so not what I normally eat.

Clean and comfortable, easy to find. Near supermarkets.

Location only plus. But not a must.

Overpriced. 100 eur+ 6 parking (even if said nothing about extra parking fee) for old room in attic, cold / heating not working properly. Beds of very low quality, bathroom small with items not fixed, tv not working properly. Same price we had fantastic suite of 4 star hotel in central Dortmund.
