Hotel Palmenbad

The service staff from check-in until we left was unbelievably helpful and gracious. We stayed at 20 different hotels during our trip to Germany, the staff here has to be the best.

We wish it had air conditioning and a little further away from the street car. As it passes by on the cobblestone road outside it makes sleeping a little hard.

Very nice hotel and room, close to public transport. Staff made us change room to switch to the upper floor.

Breakfast was too expensive for our standards.

Boutique hotel in UNESCO surrounding. New awesome management. Digital check in worked well. Strong like the HERCULES nearby. Will book for my wedding maybe :)

No staff there until late, but this is normal when it is a 24 7 DIGITAL hotel.

It was a very hot period and the hotel has no air conditioning. The room was at the roof top and it was incredibly hot during the stay -> not convenient for warm / hot summer days!

The location near the park is nice, but far from the City Center.

The photos look much nicer than the rooms do in real life, there is no shiver curtain - just a sit down bathtub and no gym or other facilities.

Shower curtain was useless, in case of water damage the floor, we have to use some towels to stop the water spread out. We could not have a proper shower.

We didn’t like our room at all - toilet has no ventilation, bath tub is in the middle of the room.. we would come again but not in this particular room. Pics on booking.com don’t show the particular room you will be booking!!

In Kassel, in this price range, you probably won't find anything better anyway.

No scrambled eggs for breakfast and a shower cabin seemingly from a past era. No card payment possible.

Breakfast was quite good. One day I was offered scrambled eggs, the other day I wasn't. Coffee could be better. I liked that I could have a double bed.

The heating was controlled automatically and that means it was sometimes on and sometimes off, and as such, in December, the room didn't always feel too warm.

Nice breakfast, location and friendly staff. The toilet only lacks a door, which was surprising.

It’s real nice Boutique hotel with a very pleasant personal touch. The staff is very friendly and super helpful and the location is quiet. The breakfast is made very freshly and with care.

The hotel is a old fashioned but very cozy and warm feeling.

We saw a cockroach in the room before going to bed and I could'nt sleep the whole night as I am scared of insects a lot.Then we saw second cockroach in the morning and I started to look all our clothes before leaving to not take insects with us to home.

The room was big and very clean. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. Staff were very friendly.Highly recommend!!!!

Clean rooms, spacious and convenient bathrooms, sufficient amenities. Breakfast was amazing with fresh fruit, made to order eggs, great coffee. Staff was super friendly and helpful.
