Hotel Kennedy

Pros +

• The hotel staff was excellent. They were very courteous and friendly, and they reached out to me in English to check if I needed anything. One of the receptionists spoke some Spanish, and so we were able to communicate using a combination of languages. The buffet breakfast was great with good selection and quality such that I was looking forward to it each morning. The neighborhood was clean and walkable with restaurants, supermarket, and shopping mall within walking distance.

Cons -

• The bed was not very comfortable and there were some marks on the sheets. There was a used bandaid stuck to the headboard of the bed. The remote controls looked dirty. The hallway lights didn't turn on until you almost passed through. The facilities, while it looked like there had been some effort to update them, could use additional upgrades. As a solo traveler, I was able to overlook the rather worn-out room given the wonderful staff and breakfast, however if traveling with your family, it might make sense to upgrade to a newer, full-amenity hotel with more comfortable rooms.
