Hotel Lonac

The hotel owner and all the staff were amazing. Always willing to help and very friendly! Their beds are very comfortable! I would strongly recommend this hotel! Thank you Marco and staff!

The Hotel and the locality are wery good (in the neigborhood there is a wery good restaurant). The matraces are good (not soft and not hard - so enough). There is in the price also possibility to make tea or coffee in the room, .....

Excellent value for the money. Staff was available, courteous and helpful. There was occasional noise from the commuter train but to me it was more like an ocean wave.

The breakfast was pretty simple. Nothing fancy, scrambled eggs done based on order. Not much of vegetables choice, but good overall.The hotel was very quiet even you can hear the train time to time.

Not much, probably only that there was just 1 chair in our 2 bed room to sit on. Might not be enough place to put another one though.

We apreciated a lot the efforts of the stuff to find us an additonal roo during the visit in Medica. They did keep us all time updated.

Easy to find parking outside great people and excellent breakfast, nothing to dislike.

Staff was very helpfull and friendly. The breakfast buffet had enough variety, they also offered to make some eggs if desired. Breakfast is available from 06:00 till 10:00;There are parking places near the hotel, although those might get filled up. Very good location : only a few steps from the public transport, and 2 restaurants are very close to the premises.

Breakfast was a typical continental breakfast and eggs were cooked as per the clients' preferences. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. The staff in the restaurant next door were very nice and food was very tasty and reasonably priced. Parking was available both in front of and behind the hotel. There was a tram station right next to the hotel, but the sounds of the trams did not cause any disturbance.

Two very small errors on arrival - dirty cups in the room on arrival and no toilet paper. However, these were rectified immediately and we were told that we could help ourselves to drinks in the fridge in the room for no cost. We didn't use any of these, but appreciated the offer.

I went to Duisburg for a cycling event and the hotel provided the perfect accommodation for the occasion. The twin room was spacious and good value for the price. The breakfast was rather nice too, and I appreciated the fresh eggs. The restaurant Balkanhof is conveniently located next door. It was also great to have a parking spot right outside the hotel, and I highly appreciated the fact that the staff allowed me to clean the bike (it had been a wet day) using the hose next to the building. We could safely store the bikes in a room downstairs, which was also a plus.

I would personally remove the huge TV from the breakfast room, it really spoils the atmosphere.

All staff were very nice . I can only remember the name of one of them Marko. But they are all very nice and willing to help with a big smile

The bathroom was some how for tiny persons.

Hotel Lonac is probably the best managed hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The owner is more than accommodating, even carrying our bicycles down a flight of stairs to a secure room. The A/C in the first room we were assigned did not work properly so he immediately switched us, with no problem. Breakfast was excellent with scrambled eggs made to order and equally fresh fruit salad…in addition to many other items. If I’m ever in the vicinity I would not consider staying anywhere else.

The Parking lot front of the hotel is most of the time full, as a result, we must park our car behind which is less convenient.

We arrived in Dusseldorf for the exhibition. The location of the hotel turned out to be excellent in relation to the exhibition center. Close to the hotel, Great restaurant. The rooms are clean. Service is pleasant. Breakfast is good. Recommended.

Super tidy and clean, rooms are comfortable. Personnel is kind and available. I would only recommend to get rid of those small plastic bottles provided for soap/shampoo and use instead wall-mounted dispenser. This is just a suggestion for improving the sustainability.

Had issue with WiFi, it stopped working at a certain point during the evening and I could not use it anymore.

The staff is very kind. The room had everything you need and was spottles. Very easy to communicate in English.

Of course it's not in the city but the connection is very good and it's just a very short walk to the U-Bahn.

The staff were very friendly and I felt welcome at every contact I had with them. The breakfast service was very attentive, and eggs and coffee were made on the spot! The internet connection was very fast and reliable.

The hotel room was a bit small and old-fashioned, but it was comfortable. The parking spaces were a bit too narrow.

Small, friendly hotel. Parking directly outside. Rooms are medium sized. Kettle wuth various teas and coffee in the room. Comfortable bed. 2 chairs, which seems to be unusual these days. Friendly staff. Good buffet breakfast with an option of cooked eggs. For an evening meal Balkanhof recommended which is just across the car park. Make sure to book a table. Very busy.
