Pros +
- Friendly professional staff, a great breakfast
- I stayed in your location near Rhamstein which is why I chose the Duisburg location! The Duisburg location is phenomenal!! Staff was friendly, breakfast was good and the bathroom was good.
- found it really good value, easy to locate, parking literally next door secure and you could walk from the parking to the hotel undercover. 12 euros for 24 hours very good value. Reception staff very helpful
Cons -
- Single elevator which broke down
- I wouldn't hurt to put microwaves in the rooms and add hashbrowns to the breakfast bar!
- migrants in duisburg town let it down in the late evening

Location
Air-conditioning is not good No body tell me that housekeeping is not following the lable request, you have to call receiption for housekeeping. One elevator in the building is wasting time
Regarding Breakfast: It was great to discover they could brew decaf coffee at the bar. I had no idea during my first days there! It would be great to offer real orange juice rather than an orange drink. It would also be nice to list all the ingredients for the muesli cereals.
There was a very long wait to check in. I asked at 2:30 p.m. if my room was ready and it wasn't yet. The crowds at the front desk didn't recede until 3:40 p.m. and even then they weren't sure if my room was ready. (It turned out that it was. Yay!)
The room was comfortable and well laid out. There were plenty of electrical outlets, which is not always a given.
I like the location and the practical layout.
The room was clean.
I am giving one star only because the room was decent enough for a 4-Star hotel. Yet, a good hotel isn't only a nice and clean room, it is specially the staff. I have worked managing hotels and in this one, without a doubt, is within the worst crew I have seen. They were rude, disorganized, unprofessional and in all truth disappointing. It really makes the staying very unwelcoming and uncomfortable. There were two receptionists, seeing one was busy, I approached the one who wasn't doing anything but enjoying himself on the phone. He answered me unpolitely and in a dismissive tone to not stay here and go to the other one. About the other receptionist, despite her not being able to talk English well, I have informed her that I requested a late check-out that was confirmed and accepted by their staff, yet at arrival and only after I asked they mention that it's not possible forcing me to replan the whole day base on this sudden and unwarned change. Without any understanding or assistance, when I informed them that I have asked already, and it was their words in the E-mail that I can check out late, the worker immediately got irritated, even though I was calm about this uncomfortable situation, and answered me in a very unprofessional and condescending way. How can you not know that you are booked out when answering to E-mails and agreeing to something? Where is the organization? Is such their disgust for this work and sector that they need to release it on guests? Honestly, for a 4-star hotel, this was beyond disappointing. Not only being way below their competitors in 4-star hotels, I would say doesn't even compare to two-star hotels. Train your staff to stay professional, very disappointing.
The reception staff who received our group was very helpful
Only one towel left for 4 nights and no one responded to reception when called.
Fantastic breakfast; close to station, restaurants and pubs.
The splash pool wasn't open.
Staff was friendly and helped us find a place to rent a car
Only downside was a bit of a walk from the train station but still very close
I liked the location quite close to the city center, 15 mins to Düsseldorf’s airport by train. The staff was great.Very easy check in and out.I did not like :It needs refurbishing, old carpets in the corridors, the elevator is too slow. The pool was brokenA near by rival was quite better and cheaper.
Near to city center.
Pool doesn't work. No one tell us before we came. No tea in room. Lamp in bathroom was broken.
Old furniture, with carpets look very old and needs cleaning, the room was clean
I’ve stayed here a few times. Rooms have everything I need, beds are comfortable, staff is professional and friendly. Central, convenient location.
The pool hasn’t been open in quite a while
Very impressed by this hotel. It is big, modern, well maintained The room was big and well equipped The hotel has a great restaurant and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were helpful and friendly. There is apparently also a swimming pool and sauna but I didnt use them.
The hotel is a little difficult to get to if you are on foot. It might be helpful to give directions as to be the best route.
Location, great breakfast
Feels stuffy, dated. No comfort such as fresh towels or room cleaning. The pool was not available and has been in maintenance for months. We only found out on arrival. Sauna available, not well maintained. Cold showers also not available.
Received 2 complimentary beers on arrival, which went down really well. Night Porter was great as were all the staff. They also accept late arrivals, we arrived after 11.30pm.Most of the other hotels close after 11pm
Location
During my stay, I requested the room cleaning twice, but they didn't come to clean for more than 3 days. It's very disappointing.
Very friendly staff, clean and good food. Just what we needed.
That the pool was closed. Why is not Booking.co. updated with such events? Travelling with kids it was basically the reason for choising the hotel.
Good enought for some weekend Duisburg. Was nice and friendly staff. Very close every where. For one night is oke.
If you want to stay in this hotel I thinks you must weak up early to have breakfast. 09.30 is everything finish and they dont put new. We use to ask first and that very shame to ask about food.
