A basic but perfectly fine room. Clean, functional, spacious (a 'corner room" at the far end of the building), in a central location.

Parking fee of 15 EUR listed on the website, yet staff at check-in quoted 19 EUR. I don't recall that there was a coffee maker in the room, which would be good to have.

Neither good nor bad accommodation.

There was no kettle in the room. The shower water was often lukewarm. You have to pay 19 euros for parking.

Great location near the station. Almost no sound from outside.

No bacon at breakfast but thats a preference haha.

I often stay in Duisburg when flying late into Düsseldorf. Excellent location, nice room and excellent breakfast. Amazing value for money. Much better than the B&B hotels at either side of Duisburg station

Pancake machine wasn’t working at breakfast

Nice hotel, just a few steps from the central station, and some 10 min to walk the city centre. Very nice staff who helped me with an early check-in.

As a Member, usually high speed internet is available for member's, for this stay it wasn’t. Unfortunately, I need the high speed access for work, however, I wasn’t able to work due to high speed being unavailable.

I had booked a breakfast with booking.com a the hotel, but I was told by the staff that I had none…

Breakfast had a wide variety of options, but fillings and bread as hardly available because of too slow supply.

The room was quite comfortable and complete. We really loved it, as well as the room disposition and cleaninnes. The staff was quite friendly too.

Better to tell people's that the cleaning of room is made only on requested Sleepers on room it will help, it is not carpet on floor only under the bed

Good breakfast nice room and bathroom. Located next to the train station and not far from town.

Seems to be a trend that if you book a double room for single use you only get one duvet, towel and pillow. Not everyone is trying to sneak somebody into the room!

Bad

It was too cold in the room and they told me that it was not possible to provide an electrical heater. Only one blanket more but it was not possible to receive this answer in a 4 star hotel. I had a flu and I didn't have a chance to wash my hair to avoid a new critical health condition due to the cold room. I lost my jacket in my room because I left the hotel in a safety equipment. On that day I had a meeting at the Thissen plant. After the meeting, I called the hotel and they told me that the jacket was not found. The person from reception told me that she will check and come back to me with an answer. Nobody called me. I suppose the hotel has video registration and it can be checked that I go inside with a long black jacket and go out without it. It was too big for my luggage and I forgot it in my room on the hanger. At check out the person from the reception debited my card with 100 Euro by mistake, even though the rooms were paid in advance during check in. I received a smaller amount 2 days later (due to a converter issue).I will not be their guest anymore! I traveled by plane without a jacket. Sorry for hard words but they're employees are thieves! Unacceptable! I tried to contact booking. Another impossible adventure. After many attempts I gave up! I have had a very long positive experience with booking until now but it seems that things are going downhill at booking too.I kindly ask booking to contact me and to solve my problem with my stolen jacket.

Park a bit far away from main entrance. It was raining a lot!

Location is very convenient as it is right in front of Duisburg Train station and only few meters away from city center.

breakfast can try options with bakeries in the city center or train station if want to avoid repetition.

Nice staff, location is ok but very central at the same time.

The towels didn´t smell that fresh even though they were clean.

Excellent location if you have to depart early from the railway station. The rooms are comfy and quiet despite the nearby station and a highway that just enters a tunnel not far away from the hotel. The breakfast is good, the entry of the hotel / lobby nicely designed, better than I expected.

We were there really short. Arriving Friday evening 8 pm, and leaving Saturday 7.15 am to catch our train. Couldn't tell any negative things.

The hotel environment is strategic (close to the train station), secured environment, rooms are clean, good toilet and bathroom, room heaters serviceable and quiet environment

There is nothing to comment on dislike. I like virtually all I touched for the one night I stayed there.

Great location, good value for money.

On arrival, staff wasn’t so friendly. We asked where the Christmas Market was and we had to figure it out on our own, it was just a 5 minutes walk from the hotel.Filthy towel, mini bar wasn’t filled.We stayed for 1 night and had a late check-out (12pm). Cleaning staff first knocked on our door at 8.30, again at 10, again at 11, again at 11.30 and finally at 11.45. Cleaning staff then asked when we we’re leaving and we told her that we were packing. She kept waiting untill we we’re gone.We weren’t the only ones because lots of people came outside se they’re chasing away everyone.

Good hotel in a very good location next to train station

Wasnt informed that cleaning wasnt daily and is on request. Was there for 2 nights and body soap was empty and wasnt replenished.
