    Pros +

    • Beach location and view of Table Mountain from the beach
    • A very disappointing stay and start to our holiday
    • Great Location Great stay, clean

    Cons -

    • The pictures oversell the place. There is great variance about the quality of the apartments. We had to move twice to get to one where everything worked and resembled the photos (i.e., our expectation)
    • We were assigned an occupied room at check-in (although the front office staff said there was only luggage in it), but we had to return to the front desk and wait more than an hour for the apartment to be ready (we arrived after 6pm). They then wanted to allocate us another apartment, and when I asked whether it was sea-facing, they said "no". How do you allocate a non-sea-facing apartment when I paid for a sea-facing? In the end, we returned to the original apartment more than an hour later, after they had moved the luggage, etc. When we asked the front desk team about the kids' activities that were advertised, they did not know what we were talking about. They said they were not aware of it and were not sure if or when it would start. We arrived on December 12 and they did not have any information on this? The apartment is very badly stocked - no cutting knives, terrible cutlery, no cutting board, limited pots, no iron & ironing board and the fridge had a strange odor. There was a small bottle of dishwashing liquid, but nothing to actually wash the dishes with. I understand that there is daily housekeeping, but we did not want to leave dirty dishes until the next day. There were loose wires in various places in the apartment, next to the bed in the main bedroom, and in both bathrooms. The worst was that the wires were sticking out of the wall where the hairdryer was - a big safety concern!!The lounge was not as shown in the photos on your website and only had one couch? The worst part of our stay was the beach. It was extremely dirty, full of papers, glass bottles, plastic, etc. Now I understand that this might be the city of Cape Town's responsibility to clean, but if you are going to promote your Hotel as a beach destination, with direct beach access and your intro video is on the beach, you, as the Hotel, should ensure the beach is clean!!

Beautiful views, stunning pools, staff are not trained adequately, reception had an attitude of note. Didn't even greet. Not warm or welcoming. Restaurant staff, not trained adequately of services, coffee etc. We ordered an iced matcha Latte on Sunday, was delicious, on Monday we ordered the same, we were told they don't make it!!

Staff, attitude, poorly trained.Holiday activities, games, music at the pool, entertainment.

For breakfast it was self made.

If they can adjust the book of time to 11am. We srrived at the venue at 21h30pm but we only mangle to check at 23h40pm due to the system that was down. When it was the time for us to check out the was not counted. We had to leave at 09h50am on Sunday morning.

    ?? thumbs down

Booked a king room only to find double beds. Was told the hotel doesn’t have bigger beds. The beds in the rooms were uncomfortable. The TV was as big as a laptop, it’s not even a smart TV. What a disappointment. The window in the bedroom didn’t open. The hotel couldn’t accommodate when we requested an early check in since we had an early flight. Emailed them weeks before and they refused.

Receptionist received us with a warm welcome . Gave us the keys and assisted us professionally. Awesome service . The porters helped us take our bags to our apartment, he was very helpful .

The apartment had an old TV that only played SABC 1 , at this day and age . We had no internet in our apartment. I expected the team to ensure all facilities were in working order before we arrived . We reported the matter more than thrice and the receptionist said they can’t exchange the TV and explained it’s the only TVs they had and no Smart TVs were available . The TV was not functioning imagine spending the day in an apartment with no TV and no Internet connection. Luckily the manager came at night after calling them countless times and he resolved the issue. He even exchanged our TV , they finally provided us with smart TV. The worst nightmare followed . There were kids running/playing on the corridor , knocking on our doors and ran off before we could open . This happened at night until midnight . We’ve complained countless times and yet nothing was done to stop the act . The same crowd/ group of guests woke up very early in the morning making a very loud noise. It felt like we were at the CBD . That was not nice at all .

Nice size apartment and good view. Nice access to beach. Quiet.

Building and apartment needs a little maintenance.

    Breakfast was fine

WE booked on line and turned up with in the hour, main reception did not know anything about the booking and was told we should use a different check in area. In the end someone working there decided to ask main reception and in the end they gave us the key card. Internet faulty, room and kitchen had seen better days and very smelly due to the kitchens being where they were. would not stay here again

The views from the apartment were stunning. The beds were comfortable.

The apartment does need a bit of TLC. Few broken things, windows doesn't open, fridge is frozen inside. Mismatching cutlery and glasses. Freezer drawers could not open. No plunger. Master bedroom toilet was coming off the wall. Blinds in second bedroom broken. Shuttle service out of hours was extortion. Uber was ½ the cost.Front door was broken.

    No aircon or fan

It was accessible to the airport and Blouberg, as well as the waterfront.

when we arrived the porter informed us that we needed to have the apartment number which was not given to us. I had the confirmation number and the pin only. I tried calling and emailing the number and address to no avail. After about 40 min he suggested we go to the reception and eventually after them trying they looked on booking.com and said that it was one of their bookings and we were given access. There needs to be communication between the two parties as this wasted a lot of time and caused us major stress as everything had been paid but no one knew what to do.

Large hotel mega complex that caters for all types of travellers, on beach front and with pools

It was overly expensive for what was provided. Tired decor and some very obvious squashed cockroaches that hadn't been removed by cleaning. Also, found a few live ones running around!

    5ThembaPosted on: 1-27-2025

The kitchen and TV area were liveable, appliances well kept.

I asked for rooms that were sea facing, the receptionist lady Ofentse just bluntly said there are no rooms. The bathroom cupboards were pealing at the bottom and front in the bathroom. Both bathroom/toilet extractors were not working, even after letting the staff know it was still not fixed.Nothing available to hold your soap or gel inside the shower. There were some loud and noisy ladies at night even in the early hours of the morning.

    Location

This is pertinent to apartment A129 only. Threadbare carpets, cracked tiles in bathroom, bath surround held in place only by 4 litres of silicon. Cupboards damaged by wear and water. Loose floor tiles, hard mattresses, very worn patio furniture. Bedroom curtains faded and sun damaged, window locks broken, interior furniture scratched sticky, bashed and tired. No shelves or drawers in bedroom cupboards. People were partying until 4 am, design means lots of noise and echoes. Avoid this apartment and possibly the entire facility. The fridge was nice though.

More attention is needed by the workers who clean the balconies
