    Pros +

    • Newly renovated to a high standard. Rooms are now very modern. Ours even had a small kitchenette with induction hob, fridge and microwave and the necessary crockery and pans. Good buffet style breakfast.
    • We had a warm welcome when we arrived and the room was very comfortable
    • The best mattress I slept on in years. Close to the motorway, easy to find. Accomodates dogs which is a bonus. Free parking. And lovely staff. Thank you

    Cons -

    • Expensive commute into the town centre every day if you're not familiar using the local tram. Taxi cost 23 Euro. However, you can use the tram. The nearest station is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Day ticket around Bielefeld per person was 6.80 Euro when we travelled (December 2024).
    • The breakfast was nice but the sausages and bacon were cold, they had the decorators in and was plastering the hallway where our room was so when we were returning to our room we were walking all over the dust sheet full of plaster didn't understand why that corridor was closed to guests while the decorating was taking place the hotel wasn't full. Overall great place to stay And will stay here again
    • The hotel closed, at 10:30pm. We were not able to check in.

Large room and bathroom, both spotless. Very comfortable bed. The staff was very kind and welcoming. 5 minutes from the highway, right next to Lidl and McDonalds. Dogs are allowed for an additional €10 fee.

Excellent location for me, staff are friendly and helpful (I don’t speak German but it doesn’t seem to be a problem for them to understand me and help). They were also very helpful when I had to check in much later!

    Nothing, all good.

the broken elevator! 3 floors on stairs 3 times (or more) a day wasn't very easy !

    Friendly staff. Big room

Ancient room not matching pictures on booking.com. The hallway smelled like cigarettes.

Nothing really, maybe just having good air conditioners during the hot weather helped. Room 1 was nicely re-furbished but no main ceiling light; could have been brighter .

This hotel is oversold on bookings.com. We booked two rooms purely for the good facilities that it should have offered us based on bookings.com. There was none of it e.g. slippers, bathrobe, socket near the bed, drying rack, wifi wasn’t working, parking was full - customers should have been able to reserve. When we asked the receptionist of the missing facilities, they said that they had never offered these. The hotel must get in contact with bookings.com and update their details asap. The rooms are overall super dark, there is not a main ceiling light and one will struggle to get ready in the early morning hours. We had to get ready for a Wedding and it was just horrendous. Dark furnitures and dark carpets. Yes there are pictures on bookings.com but when you are actually in the room, you realise how dark it can get during the evening or early morning hours. One of the receptionists was not friendly at all. We asked for an iron box as you should and the receptionist was annoyed that we had asked him and said with a big attitude that we have to return it in the morning. The entrance to room 1 was ripped off and the corner was full of building stuff. It was not a nice sight. The older rooms are the darker ones. I also found a silverfish on my duvet when i woke up! Overall the cleanliness was also super poor. With aged furnitures and bathroom, it is super important that the cleanliness was spot on for us to feel nicer. I just couldn’t wait to check out.

A nice light airy room and good bathroom facility's, good selection for breakfast and easy self service recommended

Nothing. Floors weren't finished, aircon in room had broken motor and keeps buzzing and clicking every 5min. They knew we were 4 people coming and we book a family room for 4 people and we got a room with only 3 sleeping spaces..Run down b and b at best..

    Affordable

Very limited choices in the breakfast… we asked about croissant at 8:30am and we were told that all were taken by the early bird guests (specified there were 3 ?)The floor was dusty!

Friendly staff and greeting on arrival.Very comfortable bed and well furnished, modern room.

The coffe maschine was top of the range, its a shame they use 2nd rate coffee with it, the coffee was very weak and disappointing.
