    Pros +

    • good sleep clean rooms
    • Location but the rooms over the mais street are super noisy !
    • We loved the location. Close to everything we loved that we were able to walk to the train station , restaurants and little shops in the area.

    Cons -

    • no facilities No fridge No water
    • There are cockroaches in my room and bathroom !! Lots of small ones. The bathtub was broken (plastic ) and as soon as I started showering, à Very dark brown smelly staff started coming out from the broken part under my feet! Disgusting !?
    • Really we found the pillows were hard, too hard for our likings.

    Location, personal

Weak wifi signal, cold rooms, dirty restaurant table sets, no options for breakfast, cold swimming pool

The staff was incredibly kind and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay! And this was a big plus

The facilities and the rooms could use a little bit of maintenance. Unfortunately a few things weren’t working well and we were very cold during our first night.

    The location

Very noisy place , the windows are not adequate to isolate the noise , the hotel is located at one of the busiest places in Marrakech. The room has no electric plugging next to the bed , only one electric plugging and far from the bed.

The location was perfect, the staff was really friendly, clean place

Just it needs more maintenance, providing more amenities like a hair dryer.

    9colleenPosted on: 7-12-2025

    Cleanliness, uncluttered.

A kettle in the room would have been good and another chair.

    4MojahedPosted on: 6-27-2025

Nothing, just close to train station

Dosn’t like photos and it’s so old property also not clean give 2 from 10

Nice warm pool , accessible at all times?Big bed and room , with good tv channels in English and some cooking shows on in Arabic. 2 minutes from train station and I ate at nice Indian Restaurant called Clay Oven.

Tub shower was a little bit high for my legs, but I managed

Decent location i chose as closer to the airport

The Booking.com listing said Airport Shuttle but they do not have one and I had to pay for a taxi

Very comfortable bed to rest after long travel..

The shower didn't work, but at least there was a bathtub, had to put a towel at the drain cos stopper didn't work...?

    Shouldn’t have stayed

Dark, lights were switched off in the alley & lobby bathroom, elevator is old and shaken, power outlets in lobby aren’t working. Rooms are outdated, staff aren’t helpful, breakfast is poor, no airport shuttle as claimed.

Great location near the train station. It did not feel unclean

Overall shabbyness. Even on the top floor the street noise will keep you awake.

Very Disappointing Stay – Unprofessional Service and Hidden ChargesI recently stayed at Hotel Safia with two friends, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. Upon check-in, the receptionist was unprofessional and did not deal with us properly. There was no parking facility available at the property, not even a paid option, despite what was expected. What upset me the most was that the receptionist charged us not only the booking amount but also an extra 400 dirhams without giving us any receipt or explanation for the additional charge. This is completely unacceptable. The room itself lacked the facilities that were mentioned at the time of booking. Overall, the service was poor, and the entire experience was frustrating.I sincerely request that Booking.com look into this matter and refund the extra amount that was wrongly charged. I hope no one else has to go through a similar experience at this hotel.
