Hotel Swiss Bellevue Aathal

It was clean. Free coffee with a coffee machine in the room is nice! Nice cabinet in the room. Bed was fine. Pillows were ok.

For over $100 USD per night, I expect to have my own bathroom attached to my room. The room I was in did not have this, so I had to travel across the hall into a public / shared bathroom like I was in a hostel. And I don't recall that really being made clear in the booking. At that price point that's not really acceptable value in my opinion. The room is quite far from Zurich to be priced as high as it is with no private restroom. The check in process was very unclear. I was given a code to retrieve a key from a machine, that machine didn't work. Just by luck someone passed by and saw me trying to check in and knew who to go grab. The person they grabbed to check me in looked like he works at a restaurant or something downstairs from the rooms. But I don't recall being given any contact info to help with a smoother check in.

Bathroom door broke and got stuck inside. Check in a bit challenging.

Not a good choice even for one night!

Too noisy if you open the window you will suffer from the noise of the cars and trains, when you close it the place is going to kill you by the humidity smell and warm!

The room didn’t have air conditioning, it was really small and also shared bathroom was awful, and the fridge didn’t work.

The bed was comfortable

Sticky floor. No plug sockets that would take an international adapter. Lights had a mind of their own, unable to put bedside light on without the main light going on. A chef from somewhere had to come and let us in the room as no one was there. Lots of banging during the night from whoever was upstairs. Not a pleasant experience of Switzerland and only thankful that it was just one night.

Rooms ok, common services and wc well cleansed.
