Hotel Dos Cavaleiros

Location, staff.

The hotel's listing shows "air conditioned rooms", which turned out not to be true. During winter they only have heating (even if it is not cold!). That, to me, is a misrepresentation of the hotel's features. I complained about it and they offered to refund me one night (I stayed there 3 nights!). They refused to refund my entire stay so I had no option but to accept it. Nontheless, I was not happy about it. Bookings.com should step up and refund me the other 2 nights! That would be "assuming the responsibility".

A 3 star property with 5 star people. Set in the center of town. The location is optimal for exploring Torres Novas. My room was comfortable and had everything I needed for an excellent adventure. Folks are helpful and kind.

Room for improvement. Better quality towels and more variety at breakfast...

Location was really nice, very close to the city centre of Torres Novas.

The air conditioning was not working properly, the water from the shower was always flooding the floor of the bathroom. The tv was not working as expected when we arrived and we had to inform the staff about it and finally they could fix it.

Young and helpful staff. God breakfast good located .

People outside using the terrace as a cheap pub. Smoking, excessive drinking and a boombox. Off putting. Do something about it!

The breakfast was good considering the price of our stay, which included breakfast, but it is not excellent. The staff was perfect and so were the bedrooms, very comfortable.

I wish there were body wash and shampoo dispensers in the shower.

It was a really nice location near the square, also the balcony looks over this and was very beautiful. It was close to the museum/ castle. The staff was very friendly and the bed was super comfortable. The breakfast was super tasty.

I don't have anything negative to say we didn't have noise from the square, the receptionist answered all of our questions, the room was big enough. Maybe the common room was a bit outdated in style but i think this old style matched the hotel very good.

The location is very good. They also give you a menu-voucher to have a meal with a discound in the local restaurant. The hotel is newly renovated and was almost completely empty. Breakfast OK for a 3 star. If you're lucky, you'll get a parking spot near the hotel.

The renovation seems unfinished, many details lacking. At the restourant, recommended by the hotel, nobody spoke English (which is OK) and also they did not have menus in English (would be nice to have, since they collaborate with the hotel, and does not cost a lot to have them done).

The hotel is situated below the castle on the main square but on the opposite side of all the restaurants, pubs and cafes, therefore you do not hear any noise. Breakfast was very good and sufficient.

Location is the best you can get in the small town of Torres Novas. The staff was nice. The room was clean, the beds were ok, the breakfast wasn't the best in the world but it has variety and quantity (missing bacon and eggs).

The shower was a bit dangerous cause you can easily flood the floor of the bathroom. But it was the only minor thing.

Perfect place for a stopover stay. Good beds, clean rooms. Simple but ok breakfast.

Nice clean rooms, comfortable bed and nice view from room!Traditional Breakfast perfect, and staff very friendly and helpful. Second time this time, and I will for sure return when I am in the area.

The hotel is in the historic centre near all the shops, bars and restaurants. The property has been totally refurbished so the room and facilities are modern and good. The room has air conditioning, flat screen tv, private bathroom and wifi but the price of the room was very economical and included a continental breakfast. The prices charged were before the pandemic. It’s easy to drive out of the town from the hotel. Parking is limited but great for a motorcycle. The staff were helpful and very friendly.

I prefer a cooked breakfast instead of continental but the breakfast served was good.
