Hotel seemed rather empty upon arrival and we were given rooms facing the parking lot and not the green space. That being said the green space (old horse racetrack) was very run down and deserted.

The breakfast room is spacious.

When we arrived at the hotel around midnight we were told that our reservation was cancelled although our reservation was active on Booking.com. The hotel didn’t want to accept our active Booking reservation again although I showed them on the app. We had to call booking customer service and we were on the phone almost 20 minutes. We were given a room almost an hour later. When we walked in the room the window was open. When we woke up in the morning we understood the reason why the window was open. There was stinking odor coming from bathroom. So, can you please let us know how an active reservation can be shown as cancelled on the hotel’s system? My wife got cold after waiting 1 hr at the lobby.Why a room with stinking odor was given to us?

Spotlessly clean quiet room with a view over the green expanse of the former horseracing track. Friendly staff and a wonderful breakfast made this a thoroughly enjoyable stay

Couldn't get any English language channels on the telly, but given that this is in Germany, that's not really a complaint.

The room was clean and comfortable.Staff were very friendly.Breakfast was AMAZING and there were a great variety of options available.Parking was easy and check-in was effortless.

This is an extremely comfortable hotel, with excellent, friendly service all round. We stayed for a family celebration that took place there. The caterers were particularly good. Excellent buffet food and very friendly, attentive bar service. At breakfast there was an amazing variety, every taste was catered for. And here too, the staff were attentive and friendly, even though it was very busy.

Really great stay at Atlantic Hotel Galopprennbahn! The room was spacious and clean, the amenities are good (they have a sauna!), staff are helpful and friendly and the breakfast buffet was delicious. Match all that with very affordable pricing, this hotel makes it a 5 star. While the location is a bit far from the center, the have a bus stop quite near the hotel, making it easy to get around.

Nice rooms, quite spacious, clean and comfortable. Friendly attitude to the dogs, who traveled with us. Perfect surroundings to walk dogs.

We made a quick stop on our road trip, for this the hotel is excellent. Breakfast is good and room is spacious and comfortable.

excellent breakfast, great room with a nice view on the horse race tracks (not used anymore I think but we enjoyed watching the rabbits and the birds playing). The staff was very friendly.

Prices in the restaurant are a bit steep and the hotel is quite remote from the city. We chose the place of course, but I was expecting the area to be more lively. We had to take the car to the city center (+/- 6 km if I remember well) to see something. Again, we chose the place, so it's on us.

Perfect breakfast, perfect restaurant, caring staff…Dog welcomed. Clean and comfortable room. Quiet.What else could you ask for? :-)

Nice clean room, friendly and easy to communicate with stuff

The water temperature in the shower was a bit low and we were not sure how to fix that.

Great view, good bed and breakfast was great as well. Location isn’t that far from the city centre, so by car it’s doable.

Water from the shower wasn’t really hot almost cold so that was disappointing.

The location is great. Personeel are friendly and helpful.

Our room is on second floor facing the parking so we don't have privacy, and at late night many people come in and out and we heard everything due to the parking. And the entrance is just nearby to our window in our room. At 2:30am still people talked loud and laught in the entrance. So its very disturbing.
