Directly opposite the Bern Exhibition Center and just 656 feet from the Wankdorfstadion (stadium), Ibis Budget Bern Expo offers free WiFi access. It is just 1.1 mi from the center of Bern. The rooms at the Bern Expo Ibis Budget feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. This hotel does not have a restaurant, but guests can order hot and cold snacks at the bar 24 hours per day. Guests can use also all facilities in the partner hotel located in the same building, including the restaurant. The Guisanplatz Tram Stop (line 9) is right outside and provides direct connections to the city center. The PostFinance Arena is 1640 feet away. Bern Airport is 6.2 mi away.

- The staff of the hotel is very friendly
- We were eventually upgraded to a regular ibis room, but I would not stay here again.
- Clean, Spacious basic necessities, near bus stop, good customer service
Cons -
- The hotel was ok, however, it is too far from the city, transportation is zero before 6 am, no taxis before 6 am nada, I had to move to the city and paid another hotel because this issue, very disappointed
- Room is small, and no hair drying.
- The rooms are NOT air conditioned as stated in the ad. They have 'central air' that the hotel controls, not you. So do not come here expecting to beat the heat. Rooms were extremely basic, almost like a dorm room with bunk beds and all. Not worth it.
