ibis Styles Sallanches Pays du Mont-Blanc

This is truly a wonderful hotel in the heart of the french Alps with direct views of the famous mount blanc. The location is a bit out of town, about a 30 minute walk to the town center, but that makes it an ideal place to stay for some. The facilities are great and i encourage you to try them out!

Comfortable bed, good breakfast!

A good hotel in principle, and nice staff, though you notice that it's been used a lot over the last years. Common areas look larger on the pictures ?

all was cool. I liked the fact room had plastic flooring and not carpets - easy to maintain. it was nice and super quiet. all was clean. breakfast was well balanced, we had all we needed. the presence of the spa was cool as well. very enjoyable.

Loved the location being close to Geneva and Mont Blanc and therefore travelling into Italy. The staff were very friendly upon our arrival and during our short stay. The beds were very comfortable, the room an excellent size - very spacious. The en-suite was well designed. Lots of mountain related character to the interior and a good buffet breakfast including some gluten free options. The air conditioning was wonderful!Lots of free parking.

High price for drinks in bar. Appalling “menu”In lobby bar which consisted of plastic looking packaged burgers and dubious things in jars which apparently had to be heated up. No indication how. Unfriendly and unfriendly unsmiling person behind desk who seemed to do everything from check ins, check outs, serving drinks and pulling out things from the freezer with which she indicated that we’d be better off elsewhere. The hot tub was full of beer glugging Dutch men and didn’t seem to be working (no bubbles) so didn’t bother. The sauna was outside and it was pouring with rain so didn’t bother. The gym (if you can callIt that) had a running machine, a cross trainer and a rowing machine. The room was no better than an Ibis budget (stayed in previous night). Differences were that the tv was an inch bigger; the towels were nice and there were fewer plugs. There was nothing stylish about the Ibis Styles.

The hotel is placed right next to the Autoroute so was very handy for a quick stopover en route up to central France. The hotel and rooms were clean and modern, and I loved the Alpine theme with the cable car you can sit in in the Bar! Breakfast was good and parking was free right outside. Lovely view of snow capped mountains too. There aren't many restaurants nearby so we made do with McDonalds and the supermarket Carrefour for dinner as we didn't fancy driving into Sallanches.

I felt it was rather expensive for just one night

The property was good value for the area. Modern with nice designer touches for the decor, and great view of the mountains. Staff were very helpful and friendly and breakfast was extensive for continental style.

The gym and hot tub were a bit limited but again great views and always available for exclusive 30-minute session when we were there in July. Location 25 mins out of Chamonix was a bit of a pain

The breakfast was very good, clean and organized well, the room was clean, there is an elevator, and free parking, beautiful view, i recommend

Good breakfast, with different options, including natural orange juice. Well located also, near the highway and next to different restaurants, supermarkets, etc.

The staff was extremely helpful! The communication online was very effective. We needed an electric car charger, which was on site, reserved for us. The room was spacious, clean and confortable. Also very quiet and a view was lovely. The breakfast was absolutely amazing as well. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Easy parking, warm welcome from the staff, bar area open late. Great choice of breakfast items. Room great with easy adjustable temperature controls, great shower!

Very nice hotel, with good sized bedrooms, with mountain view, clean, very nicely decorated. Breakfast was good and included in the price. Located in the outskirts of Sallanches, in a commercial area full of shops and restaurants.

Very convenient place for traveling by car. Not far from Chamonix's attractions. Well decorated and neat hotel. Very helpful staff. Good breakfast choice. Good and silent air conditioner.
