Le Cordonant

The service was great -we felt at home during our stay. Dinner and breakfast were wonderful. Charming town and lovely location in the region.

This is my 2nd stay at ‘Le Cordonant’. It had been 6 years since I had visited, and I could not wait to return and bring my family. It was more beautiful than I remembered! It is a beautiful hotel in the lovely village of Cordon. The rooms are so charming and cosy. Either view is outstanding-my daughter and son-in-law had the Mont Blanc view which is absolutely GORGEOUS!!! You truly feel you can touch Mont Blanc. My granddaughter and I had the opposite Mountain View which was also beautiful. Sandrine, the owner, is absolutely incredible! She works so hard to make this hotel so special. The breakfast is amazing, as well as their dinners. It is such a gem of a hotel, and I am so grateful to Sandrine, for making our stay so special. I cannot wait to return!

This was our 2nd stay and we love it. The food...oh my...excellent in every respect breakfast and dinner both. The room was lovely (last year we had a balcony room that had an amazing view) and on the lower level with doors out to the grass. The Cordonant books up many months in advance so we were lucky to stay this summer...it's very special.

Next time I'll ask for the balcony room...wow what a view of Mt. Blanc!

The internet connection is a bit challenging task, especially if you plan to work from the hotel and have video calls.

The views, the lovely staff, and our beautiful balcony with Mont Blanc looming right in front of us would take your breath away. BUT the food...oh my heavens..the chef must be Paris trained...elegant and delicious...we both had fish cooked to perfection. This is a destination!

Poor internet connection.

Everything! we arrived very late after an 11 hour drive. We were welcomed warmly and fed well even though the kitchen had closed. Breakfast was exceptional and the best I’ve ever had. Staff were warm and welcoming.

I can’t think of a single thing I didn’t like.

It's an old school hotel in some ways but totally functional and the bed was comfortable. Try to get a room w a mountain view. Breakfast was nice.

Internet should be stronger. Towels and bedding newer.
