Pros +
- Clean bedroom with great double shower. Cleanest outdoor pool I’ve ever seen (pity it was too cold to swim). Very nice breakfast
- Beautiful accommodation with a luxurious feel. A warm welcome. The service is excellent. The host was able to arrange a late-night excursion to Mount Etna, as a previously booked excursion was canceled at the last minute by the tour operator itself. A beautiful, spacious, and clean room, and a fantastic breakfast. We had a wonderful breakfast outside on the terrace.
- Breakfast was nice. There were nice choices. The property was so beautiful and exceeded our expectations. It looked luxurious and a really good value compared to where some friends were staying.
Cons -
- No advice on how to get through the gate into / out of the hotel grounds (waited a while to be let in). Limited availability of dinner menu options
- No negative points.
- The only thing is you need a car. It was a bit out of the way but so private and it was worth it for us.

Beautiful location and outstanding service .The food was excellent with great service.
Though we booked two junior suites, one junior suite was just the same size as a Superior room.
Very beautiful hotel ,polite stuff ,amazing breakfast with local products .What basically expect from a perfect hotel .Very clean everything .The pool amazing and the sunbeds very comfortable. We will definitely come again .Thank you
Beautiful property with good location to Mt Etna. Pool was beautiful, and rooms comfortable and clean. Reception was good and the overall service good.
Selection at bar very limited. Only one type of beer that was terrible. Food was good but service at restaurant was lacking.
Cozy hotel with lovely modern interior.Super friendly staff - helped us to plan the day and visit nice places.Large pool and beautiful small garden - top class.Good breakfast.
Area outside hotel is not as nice as hotel itself, but we did not walk around either.
We had such a lovely stay. So calm and beautiful place with a stunning view over Etna. The pool area was great! We also loved the breakfast with fresh omelettes and the lunch with all kinds of tasty sandwiches and salads. The staff were welcoming and helpful.
Unique boutique hotel with a wonderful character, positive energy and beguiling views of Etna.
A very warm and extensive welcome with a free upgrade to a beautiful big room with bath tub. A beautifully designed and clean hotel. The swimming pool is big and amazing. Possibly the best breakfast I've had in a hotel. The restaurant serves tasty dishes with attention to detail.
Be aware that the pool is not heated. The hotel is located in a residential area, you can't walk nicely around the hotel.
Beautiful hotel, garden and swimming pool for relaxing and having a good time with my husband and friends. We got a great help arranging car’s and other things for us on our stay.
Excellent pool and staff! Clean and comfortable.
Nothing!
The building and pool were beautiful with plenty of space for everyone without it feeling crowded. The views of Etna were wonderful and the staff were very friendly.
The hotel was very remote, if you weren't willing to drive then this hotel is not suitable. The menu was limited and we weren't allowed to eat until 2030 if we hadn't booked, even though the place was empty. It then took 2 hours to get our food.
Would like to reiterate how fantastic the staff was.The breakfast was of a very good standard with lots of choice….been very picky a wider selection of bread would have been appreciated. The pool area was exceptional very peaceful and tranquil. In our opinion free bottled water should be made available FOC in a selected boutique hotel such as this. The restaurant could benefit from having a more ambient atmosphere. Such as candles on the table and dimmer lighting
The hotel has a beautiful design. Gorgeous pool area with plenty of loungers and a stunning view of Mount Etna. Nice spacious bedroom & bathroom. Quite simple in style. Excellent breakfast with a surprising & ever changing selection of home-made pastries, breads & cakes. Fantastic evening dining. High quality food & wine. Attentive wait staff. Good selection of delicious poolside lunch & snack options. The hotel also helped us arrange a hassle free excursion to Mount Etna. The view of Etna at night especially when it is erupting is just breath taking! We witnessed kilometer high lava fountains. The hotel has an on-site telescope which you can borrow and set up by the pool area to get a closer look. There is also a big local restaurant close by that served excellent pizza if you want an authentic Sicilian dining experience surrounded by locals. Great buzz!
The hotel is in a residential area. But once inside the hotel you feel like you're in the country surrounded by lemon trees.
The breakfasts were superb, the staff were all lovely, the pool area was sublime and the restaurant was outstanding. There is very little to complain about!
It’s not the most central location, there is only one restaurant within walking distance and you need a car to get to beaches or any of the “old towns”
The pool is superb as well as all the facilities sorounding it. Perfect hotel to spend the whole day in taking up the hot Sicilian sun. Kithen is amazing and breakfast is very tasty. Would recommend to everyone. The hotel and surrounding yard is designed with elegance and you feel private villa vibes since there are not that many people there. The staff is professional and polite. 10/10
The hotel is beautiful, we had a standard room with view on both etna and sea, the restaurant is very good and not too expensive and the breakfast is very good with home made cakes, eggs, and hot chocolate. The pool is also very nice with 21meter length.
The bed could be a bit more confortable and walls between rooms more sound proof. Besides that, the stay was very very very pleasant.
Our stay at Ramo d'Aria Etna Boutique Hotel was an absolute delight. Upon arrival, we were immediately impressed by the hotel’s tasteful design, beautiful presentation, and its proximity to Mount Etna. Check-in was seamless, and we quickly made our way to the pool. The water was wonderfully warm, like stepping into a bath, and the pool itself was spacious with plenty of sun loungers for relaxation. One of the highlights was enjoying drinks by the pool while watching Mount Etna erupt in the distance – a truly unforgettable experience. Dinner that evening was equally impressive, with knowledgeable and attentive staff who expertly guided us through the menu and wine selections. The following morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast in their stunning outdoor area, surrounded by the natural beauty of the setting.Ramo d'Aria exceeded our expectations in every way, and we highly recommend it for anyone looking to experience the charm of Sicily with the grandeur of Etna as a backdrop.
Nothing really, it was a lovely place.
lovely location overlooking Etna, lovely pool, nice restaurant, helpful staff
