Manuelina Taste Hotel

We stayed at this hotel in August and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The property sits in a beautiful, scenic location with breathtaking window views. Shops, cafés, and the sea are all just a short walk away, and the nearby train station makes day trips to neighboring towns very convenient.Inside, everything is spotless and inviting, with soft, calming lighting that feels especially pleasant on hot days. The swimming pool is clean and wonderfully refreshing. Both the trattoria and the main restaurant serve excellent food. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff are exceptionally warm and welcoming. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Very clean. Loved the morning breakfast staff was extremely friendly. So nice. Simona went out of her way yo make ys feel comfortable upon our arrival .

nothing comes to mind, everything was good

Only good points are parking on site and the fact the room and bathroom (except shower needs a bleach) we’re clean and tidy with fresh towels and bedding during our stay.

This is NOT a 4 star hotel. It only has 4* rating due to pool. It is tired, dingy with poor common areas. It is trading on the popularity of its restaurants. Breakfast very poor with minimal choice in a dark and dingy room. Some of Staff very miserable. Not even convenient for Recco as a 15 minute walk away. Lift dirty and rickety and corridors with ill fitted coving and peeling wallpaper. The pictures on line must have been taken years ago and the rave reviews on line are questionable. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If you think this is a nice 4* hotel then either you have not travelled much and/or I would hate to see where you live. I suppose £150 per night now is cheap so maybe I am being unfair but I am now in a 3* place in Carrara that meets it’s online description of superb.

A/c didn’t work properly in our room and despite the fact that we raised the issue several times nothing was done to improve the situation

The hotel is just lovely. Informative and helpful staff. Lovely rooms, modern, clean, named after herbs and with an arrival gift. Great parking facilities. Gorgeous balcony. The pool area is such a bonus! The two restaurants are a must - the Tagliata was perfect. We had a fab stay here and would absolutely recommend.

Nothing- but if we had to say anything tea/ coffee in the room would be nice ( there were waters and things in the mini bar) so this is just being picky.

We stayed one night with our two little dogs. Everything was perfect. The room we were given was directly opposite the garden / pool area where the dogs could enjoy grass and shady trees while we swam in the pool and relaxed. The restaurant was amazing ! We ate in the bistro which specialised in focaccia . It was fabulous! A truly great start to our Italian holiday. We highly recommend this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to book again .

Fabulous place to stay and base there to go around Liguria we stayed five days and it was fabulous Great buffet and fabulous breakfast Great personnel specially the Hotel manager Mister Andrea great customer service and always available to help and assist Fabulous stay fully recommended

The restaurants were both very good . The gourmet was exceptional. The free parking was a big plus .

Room was very dark . A bit small for the money . Air con was a bit random .

Wonderful service, with a lovely pool and a great casual restaurant. We ate dinner and lunch there. They allowed a late check out at no extra charge and were very accommodating. The location is perfect.

The staff was wonderful, expedient and helpful with any questions we had. There were two restaurants on site. The parking was close and free. I had my breakfast delivered to the room every morning.

The room was a little small and could have been a little cleaner. We would have preferred that the hotel had a view.

the staff was mostly friendly

the price for a dark, very small single room was 358 € and not even the reading light was working. The door was queeking and there was only one gift in the room instead of two for the booking of a twin bed room we made. We are not happy about it

The main restaurant is one of the best in the Liguria region, just exquisite food and outstanding service.

The staff at breakfast was rude and unpleasant, making us feel like we needed to be in a hurry because she had to leave. I spoke to the hotel director immediately who i thing went and spoke to this person. My family and I have been coming to La Manuelina hotel for 25+ years but I'm not sure I'll stay at the hotel again.

The room was really small, the bathroom was tiny and the tiles/shower area were badly in need of re-grouting.

The tiny bathroom and the small basic bedroom.We were really surprised that there were no electrical sockets available to charge our phones.
