The location was pretty good near the station and an easy walk down to the beach. I had a terrace room which was a bonus (at a cost of course).

I really don't think it is value for money. Definitely not five stars - probably four stars.

The location was great and the drinks on the rooftop, although a little pricy, included some snacks like olives, peanuts, crisps and focaccias. The breakfast offered many different options.

The bathroom didn’t have any toilet brush which to me didn’t seem right for a 5 star hotel.

The hotel is beautiful, comfortable and very nice. It's location is prime and extremely close to the beach and the train station which can take you to cinque terre or Genova. The breakfast is great.

Parking - the staff at teh reception told us it was either 50 euro per night to pay for the hotel parking or 50 euro for 2 hours in public parking. only on the last day we found out that is was 25 euro per day in public parking which is just outside the hotel. We felt kind of robbed and it made the end of the stay taste bitter.

The hotel has everything you need for a comfortable stay, plus a good breakfast. Of course, it’s not a five-star hotel, but it’s a good one. What stood out the most was the excellent staff — always polite, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. We will remember this hotel because of these people.

It’s time for the owners to consider renovating the hotel — a five-star rating needs to be justified and maintained.

Bed and pillows were really comfortable, we had a good night sleep. The room was quiet.

It is not the best value for money, breakfast was poor, not available parking.

The hotel itself was very nice. The area is good and getting to the main roads was easy from here. The bathroom was very big which was great and the bed was very comfortable. Great value for money

Very clean and comfortable. Convenient for train station. Check in staff were excellent; helpful and polite. Gave good advice for sightseeing and dining.

Breakfast room staff could be more attentive in taking orders for eggs, re-filling tea and coffee, and clearing used plates.

The noise in the room!! Pipes banging in the walls continually throughout the night. The ac made a lot of noises as well. The bed was comfortable but only a sheet and one thin blanket in the room. The shower needed to be cleaned and regrouted Breakfast was not good. Everything looked like it was sitting a long time. The milk was warm for cereal. Nothing was restocked once it was gone.

Beautiful hotel, very well maintained and staff were all very personable and happy to help with all requests.

A swimming pool would have been amazing and made the hotel a 10/10

Great location, with a lovely bedroom, close to the city center and many excellent restaurants. We especially loved Del Luca Pizzeria, which was right across the street! Breakfast was delicious, though it could have offered more bread options and been restocked more frequently when items ran out.

The hotel emphasizes its rooftop jacuzzi a lot, but it's rarely available for use. It had rained in the morning, but by the afternoon, the weather had cleared up, with just a few clouds—perfect conditions to use the rooftop. However, it remained closed, leading us to think that they only open it on sunny days. On sunny days, you'd just go to the beach, so the jacuzzi isn't as necessary. When we inquired about the rooftop, they simply suggested we take a stroll around the city. The bedroom is really nice and comfortable, but the bathroom isn't in the best condition for a 5-star hotel; the shower, in particular, needs remodeling.

great location close to the town, we walked in every day, and the staff was so service minded. the breakfast was rather large and great, my only gripe was that pancakes and such was an add-on, but i think thats a culture thing comeing from swedish breakfasts. the room was okay and the bed was super comfy, and there was a small closet to hang clothes aswell.

The 5 star rating only describes the amenities offered not their quality. This property is a good example of why you need to read all the details. It offers parking but only reveals the price deep down in the listing. 50€ a night is quite surprising when the only alternative is meter parking which was full when we arrived. The room was noisy from the equipment outside the window and the air conditioning was slow (and off when not in the room). The bar fridge was very noisy and couldn’t be turned off. The kettle could only be filled by crawling under a table to unplug it. The bathroom was poorly designed - no hooks or bars to hang towels or clothes except 2 for the bathrobes. The sink would send water over the floor if the tap was turned on too much.
