    Pros +

    • The host treated me like I was a VIP. The town nearby is very lovely with good restaurants. Perfect airport hotel for early morning departure.
    • good location, parking. there's no refrigerator in the room, but we asked to put our food into the refrigerator, so it wasn't a problem
    • Charming place close to town and the airport. Be aware that there are only stairs, no elevator.

    Cons -

    • A little difficult to find the front of the hotel and where you enter and where taxis pick you up. I walked through the dining room off the street.
    • too hot in the summer. There's been a weird bad smell from the kitchen.
    • It was so hot but horrendously noisy so couldn’t have the windows open

It was lovely and felt like something out of a fairy tail movie with all the Christmas decorations out on show.

We arrive at 18:00 after a long drive from England. I wanted to put my bags away and enjoy a nice pint and some food here but there were no staff around for the whole evening.

The bed was comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was very good. The soap smells amazing. Breakfast was very good. Enough variation in vegetables, bread, eggs,...

It is very noisy in the hotel. When you walk through the room the mirror/clothes hanger moves with every step (even when walking slow and silent). People walking in the room above you causes a small earthquake in your room. It's impossible to get some sleep with the noise and everything moving due to people on the floor above. For breakfast we were lead to the entry of the hotel (because the main room wasn't cleaned from the night before?). It was cold, and not nice to sit there. Took away the nice breakfast feeling. You just wanted to get out of there as quick as possible.

    Nice room

Check-in app did not work - it's useless do not use it. Staff not very helpful.

It is a historical building and the room we stayed in was looking to South-west and of course it was very hot through the evening. Temperature got normal through the night.

There were variety of mosquitos and even spider in the room. They should be careful

Such a great location for a calm getaway. Minute away from the town shops.

    The stairs. And no AC

    10AleksandrPosted on: 7-29-2024

The hotel itself has a very nice atmosphere about it - it's somewhat rustic or retro, in a very nice and cozy way - wooden floors, small building, yet it feels modern where it should be.The parking lot is huge, so you'll have no problem finding a place, and it's easy to get to Düsseldorf from there. There are also some restaurants around, so you can get some food easily, if you're feeling peckish.

For me it was not a problem, as I'm a huge train fan, but from time to time there were loud trains passing by - so if you're sensitive to the noise at night, you should probably take some earplugs with you.

Great hotel in a central location. 15 minute drive to Düsseldorf centre. Pretty area! The train track also sounds so relaxing at night.

    7IngoPosted on: 6-26-2024

    The outside was good looking.

The Sound of the trains In front of the hotel and the people having party till 24.00 in front of my room (in the nice garden). I used oropax, than it was nearly solved. The bedding (which was of cheap polyester),The breakfast (really not good and not that much choice).

Staff was very friendly and they welcomed my dog with a special touch! Room was spacious and the shower gel smell (artisanal I think) amazing! There were nice stores and restaurants around. Cute neighborhood.

The train passes right behind the hotel

    Really good price.Good breakfast.Nice staff

Nothing comes to mind. There's a train line really really close but I honest ly didn't hear anything during the night. Windows are thick.

    9AnnetPosted on: 5-27-2024

Breakfast was good, with enough variety. All what we needed. The location is very close to the Messe Dusseldorf, which is ideal. Also there are enough restaurants in the area. The staff was super friendly and service was great!

    8JessicaPosted on: 5-7-2024

We liked that everything was modern and immaculate. The lady at reception was very friendly and helpful.

There were no charging capabilities next to the bed. One of our rooms had vaulted ceilings, and the en-suite bathroom had a glass partition that did not reach the ceiling, so it offered very little privacy. You will hear each other’s bodily functions in this room, so you should be very comfortable with each other. We could also hear the trains all night.

    9Saikat_05Posted on: 4-16-2024

The hotel was very clean and located very close to the airport as well as shops. The staff were very helpful.

There is no elevator. We also did not get hot water in the shower - perhaps because it was too early in the morning. Not sure.

    10MahdiPosted on: 3-17-2024

clean and nice rooms. It was as clean as a 5 star hotelfree coffee bar. good breakfast for that price

it does not have an elevator although it has only one level. close to the train line, so whenever a train passes, it shakes a bit
