No outside shelter from the rain.
Authentic pension just off the Camino. Wonderful host.
Lack of choices for food and drinks once out of Padron
Good camino stop, lovely breakfast and staff, the rooms were decent and comfortable, very clean.
Nothing much around the area, the walls echo so you can hear the noise.
Excellent location right off the Camino. We were exceptionally early but the employee who approached us while we were waiting outside allowed us to check in early. We were very grateful for the accommodation. Really appreciated the self-serve store, as well as the excellent breakfast to the following morning. Wonderful hot shower. Lovely private bathroom.
Room was good but beds were not the most comfortable.
I loved this property-one of my favorite stays on the Camino. The host was friendly and welcoming, there was a restaurant nearby and it was right off the trail! The room was extremely comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was perfect
Nothing!
Historic building. Room had a jacuzzi tub. Very nice, accommodating host.
Grounds were a little sparse. Air conditioning was still being installed so we had fan that was more than adequate.
This was my favorite place to stay on the Camino. Our last night before walking into Santiago, and we met such wonderful people who were also staying there. We all shared a meal of goodies (from the nearby gas station) and wine and memories of our experiences walking the Camino up to that point. And then we all had an excellent breakfast together the following day before walking to our destination. It was such a pleasant place to end our journey, and some new friends to walk the final day with.
We had requested a second bed for our room, and there was only a futon couch bed that was not made up when we got there. But they quickly found a mattress to put on top of that, and made the bed for us. It was comfortable.
The meeting room was nice for conversation with other pilgrims.
The rooms and furnishings were older and musty. This was the smallest and oldest room that we stayed in on the Camino. And the cost was higher than expected for the quality of the room. There should have been someone on location to answer questions. Because the hotel is located off the Camino a bit with limited restaurants, the hotel should provide some basic food or a microwave/toaster for pilgrims to use.
One of our favorite places along the Camino. Love staying in an old stone house. The host was wonderful. A comfortable room, beautiful grounds and delicious breakfast with great conversations.
Nothing- it was all perfect!
Brilliant Location. Very quiet, close to the Camino. Friendly People. Clean and confortable. Good Breakfast.
Nothing to complain!
This beautiful rustic place was very comfortable and the folks who run it are amazing. Breakfast was lovely. The salon is great! We loved this stay.
I was a little confused arriving but no big deal.
Staff was wonderful. Perfect location to split the last stage of the Camino.
No restaurants or places to eat nearby (Sunday)
Nice old house, very close to the Camino and a good location for a 21km final day to Santiago.
I really wanted to love this place, however the room was very musty smelling. There were small things broken like the toilet seat not attached and the garbage lid broken which don’t matter much, however, this was one of the most expensive stays of my 12 night Camino and one of the worst.
Beautifully restored rural building. Allowed us to pass Padrón and eliminate 5 km of walking on last day to Santiago. Staff were lovely and breakfast had nice variety.
I like the building itself. Beautifully restored. On the Camino route. Only 5 bedrooms. I have stayed in so many hotels. I realised I prepare a family run accomodation as it feels like you are not far away from home.
It was . Lovely old buildig that had been refurbished so lovingly! Iloed hearing he birds in the fireplace downsgairs:)
Not a very nice entrance
The room was large and clean. It's right on the camino portuguese route.
No restaurants nearby. However the staff arranged a taxi to Casa Rosalia restaurant that was very good. In the morning the staff provided breakfast.
This was one of the pricier places we stayed and for the cost I would have hoped for more.
We bought the dinner option but did not realize it was a 15 minute car ride away in a separate hotel. It wasn’t communicated that it would be at 7:30 so we missed it. Also this place is not along the Camino. You must cross a busy freeway that has no crosswalk or light. The lobby was cluttered with dirty dishes.
This was a very beautiful building with lovely grounds and a very good breakfast. The common room was a nice place to sit.
We found the room quite hot and the location was a bit remote, but we knew that when we chose it. This was the most expensive place we stayed on the Camino, but was not the best place we stayed. I would still recommend it for the experience of the building itself.
Beautiful house with original decoration. Great breakfast served at big table for all guests. Good distance to Cathedral in Santiago (approx 21km). Very quiet and dark room for excellent sleep.
