- The staff, the location, the design room
- The room was clean and comfy. The location is also great. There is a metro that goes to the city centre. The hotel itself is located in a quiet neighbourhood and there are stores like Lidl and Intermarche just 2 minutes walk. The staff was welcoming.
- It was basic but serially adequate albeit rundown and jaded.
Cons -
- No Air conditionning on august hot nights
- The bed was comfortable and pillows ok.
- Shower cabin and smell

Fast check in
Dirty place, weird bathrooms
The location is very convenient close to the metro and only 3 stops from the center of Lille.
Despite the sign that smoking is not allowed, the corridors stink of cigarette. The most annoying part is that the employees are a bit loud, talking on the phone for instance, despite them knowing that the walls are not noise cancelling.
The stay was good with friendly/ helpful staff. The location is a bit further out of the town center, mainly good for people with cars.
I wasn’t allowed to enter because they said i had to wait for the next day in the afternoon They took the money from my account while i was finishing the booking I didn’t stay and i was not refunded
Convenient location. Handy to have 2 big supermarkets nearby
Staff at reception didn't know there were 2 big supermarkets nearby when I asked where I can get food since hotel does not have restuarant
Disappointing
The room was smelling like cigarettes, but we asked to change the room and the staff help us immediately with it and the new room was ok
The staff was very nice and was willing to cancel for us at no charge if we decided we didn't want to stay once we arrived. I enjoyed the close location to the train station. I liked the gate that enclosed the property as well however I do not know how secure it was overall as we stayed just one night and left in the morning. In dire circumstances it's a place to crash but I'd rather stay elsewhere for what I paid.
The dead end street it was on was very dark and didn't seem safe when walking late from the train. Shared bathrooms had urine all over the floor around the toilets. Rooms didn't have air conditioner (had a humid feel in the room) and rooms arent as clean in person like the pictures online.
The hotel offers very comfortable single bed in the room. There are no room keys only number passwords, which are very useful. Each room has a spacious washbowl and one quite large window. It is enough space around the bed. The toilets on the first floor were always clean and with fresh air.
Air conditioning should be better especially after departure of previous hotel clients. Closing the room door is very noisy, especially at night. I would recommend installing some door closer, for example automatic door closer.
The location was great, there where plenty of free parking spaces for those who travel by car.Wifi was great
there where a lot of noises at night and early in the morning.Toilet and shower where not clean. The room was also not as clean as expected. After closing the door of the room. I checked if it was closed. It did not close, you could push and open the door. After a couple times trying it finaly closed. We fully paid at booking via booking.com, including all the taxes. At arrival they took some extra tourist tax, I am not sure what that was about.
Location good staff very helpful
Very hot in summer could do with AC and bit better pillows
Big bed in the double room.
No air conditioner in the room and so hot at night even with the windows open, very poor sleep each night. Dirty bathrooms and no soap to wash hands.
The only positive about this place was the vending machine - that even broke once.
Everything. We cut our trip short and left the hotel on the 2nd morning at 6am to get the train. They gave us the wrong room and couldn't change because they were full. We booked a Tandem Double and we were given a Sidecar Double. Tandem Doubles were upstairs. The cost - price outside on the building said €40 a night... we paid in excess of €150. Pure price gouging for the Olympics. The room - was like a small prison cell with a little sink. There was no Aircon in the room and the window only opening 2 inches on the ground floor. The heat was unbearable leading to little sleep over the two nights. The bed - the slightest movement sounded like an earthquake. Awful quality and terrible furniture. Genuinely the worst hotel experience I have ever seen.
There was nothing good about this hotel
The hotel doesn't offer towels for free, you have to buy them for 3 euros each. The bathrooms (toilets and showers) are shared with the other guests, and they are disgusting. The rooms themselves are super small, dirty, and you hear everything from all the neighbors during the night when they are outside smoking until 3am. The staff is never at the front desk, I was waiting for more than twenty minutes to buy a towel.
Good location and parking.Very cooperative and friendly personnel.Breakfast OK.
Quite small room.
I liked that my room was private and that the heating worked. The staff were nice, and the hostel was near a metro station.
The rooms smelt heavily of cigarette smoke, there was quite a bit of mold in some places and it was just so bare it felt a bit like I was in a prison cell.
Very poor
The shower had black mould, the pillows were too soft that once you laid down your head was touching the mattress, the walls were thin and we could hear a couple above us having sex (very clearly) and a doona/quilt was not found in the room, we had to go and ask for it.
