    Pros +

    • Breakfast was good, bed was comfortable, options on the television were decent. Quiet hotel, didn't hear the other guests at all. Shower was super clean.Wifi was easy to log into and a good speed.
    • Location, easy to find, close proximity to shops and public transport
    • The shower was good

    Cons -

    • Super annoying to get in and out with your car or by foot. The codes of the gates should be sent beforehand and not at the check-in. Stairwell is not clean at all and smells chemical. Hallway smelled of smoke. Some nicks and nacks in my room on the furniture. The most annoying part: the use of codes for your room. Just upgrade to keycards please or stick with keys. I'm in a hotel to relax, not to remember the code to get in my room.Price is the same as competing hotels in the area, yet I'm sure they would have performed better on cleanliness.
    • Outside area could be better for parking
    • there is not door and if someone is on the toilet you can hear easy.

Good comfy bar area. Not much around the location but it was just right for what we wanted to go to a football game. Staff were excellent on reception very helpful.

Not much around location for eating. Also when I booked this property I booked because of the free parking but when I got there I was charged for 3 nights. But pretty sure it said free parking on booking.com

The room was fine, and within walking distance of the University, where I was attending a conference. There was a kettle in the room. The staff seemed nice.

There was a security fence around the hotel that made going and coming in convenient, and made it seem like the hotel was in a very rough area (which didn't seem to be the case, but I guess it must have been). The room was aggressively decorated with athletic imagery, which was not to my taste at all. The room faced right onto a busy road, so it wasn't very quiet or private.

I loved the quirkiness of the hotel and gardens. Its proximity to the Pierre Mauroy Statium was also a massive plus.

I was disappointed that my room didn’t have a fridge or tea & coffee facilities.

Location. Fairly easy to get to the Pierre Mauroy Stadium. 20 min walk. Overall pleasant and helpful staff

Seemed like a college dorm room.

Overall location of the property was good. Easy to.get the metro to Lille and walking distance from a shopping centre and the local stadioum

Only down.side was the patches of mould on the ceiling in the bathroom and the corner of the outside wall cupboards. A little more attention to detail by the staff regarding these issues.

Adequate Buffet with hot and cold food available. I found everything that I wanted but it probably be less good for some with more specialist needs or preferences. Another advantage was that the hotel also has a restaurant with a simple menu of pre prepared food and simple bar. Tried the restaurant and found the service and food basic but very acceptable

Access by car is interesting it is in the middle of a complicated road system. But on the plus side it is about a 5 minute walk from Lille’s excellent metro system

Personel was really friendly and English was good!

Car park was very full. Charger for electric car was nothing more than a standard 230V socket in the wall. This didn't work at all for my car (not enough power). Advice to remove car charger from facilities, or to arrange some decent charging facilities.

Amazing staff. Couldn't do enough for us, including homemade produce (honey from their own grounds) given to us on arrival. Lovely hotel with quirky public area making it feel less corporate. Lots of activities to keep young and teenagers (and adults!) amused, eg, pinball machine, darts, football table, board hames, books, toys. Also, there was a bar, and ice-cream, hot food and gifts available to purchase. Deck chairs outside. Lovely landscaping. Although not massive bedroom for 3 to stay in it was well laid out. Quiet and curtains kept light and heat out. Fabulous shower. Secure car parking. This has been second Ibis hotel we've stayed in this week (other being in Nancy). We don't usually stay with Ibis but will do in future.

    Difficult to find any fault.

We stayed here for the olympic games. The rooms where small/basic with a small bathroom. The breakfast was suprisingly nice. The location close to the olympic venue was great

rooms could be bigger and bathroom could be cleaner

Fantastic staff, super location, good food, clean. Parking was easy

A bit hot - no air con. Very crowded at breakfast
