    Pros +

    • fitness and restaurant
    • The architecture and decor was very nice
    • A great and beautiful place. Very quiet and peaceful. A perfect spot to relax with excellent facilities, including a very fun heated indoor pool.

    Cons -

    • the price expensive
    • The lack of atmosphere and vibe, it’s clearly a business type hotel where most guests are probably have the cost paid for on their behalf. The breakfast was average though included in my price. The buffet dinner was overpriced for the lack of variety and choice .
    • The staff barely knew English, and there was one thing that was a bit disappointing – we paid for three meals a day, but only at dinner drinks (even a glass of water) cost extra money. In the morning and afternoon, they didn’t. This slightly affected the experience. Aside from that, it’s a great place and highly recommended for a relaxing couple's getaway.

I didn't find anything particularly appealing about this hotel; overall, it felt overwhelming in every aspect.

I stayed in a room (59) with a view of the outdoor pool. Unfortunately, the room was quite small and cramped, making the shower and toilet uncomfortable to use. This hotel is average at best and does not meet high-end standards. My review reflects my personal experience with this specific room, rather than the overall offerings of the hotel. If you’re seeking more comfort, I would recommend avoiding the rooms that overlook the outdoor pool.

The atmosphere was rather friendly. Green surroundings.

There was an unpleasant smell in the rooms. The view from the window was on bio-toilets. There was a construction near the entrance to the hotel.

Really beautiful and green place. I loved the room.Great buffet breakfast and dinner. (Dinner charged extra) It has many and well situated spaces around or close to the internal pool, which can serve a big number of clients. This is not the case for the external pool, which we've found too crowded on a sunny w/e day, but there was still plenty of space for us to visit the internal pool. Last but not least, we'd like to extend a big thank you to the guy who've been in the reception of the dinner area on Sat 20/7. He's really kind and extremely professional!

    1. WiFi 2. external pool too crowded3. A high step in the left side of the parking area which is really dangerous for sport cars.

Bed was old and not comfortable

What a wonderful hotel. The room with its nature accents was so calming and peaceful. There are a lot of wellness activities on offer and lounges in the gardens to relax in nature. My room had a separate bedroom/bathroom space to the lounge/wardrobe/desk/maxi bar section. Room had new pine furniture and a big wine/mini bar fridge. The room also had a wellness basket filled with a bathrobe and towels. I recommend booking in for the dinner buffet at the on-site restaurant. I wish I stayed for more nights

The property also appears to do corporate events. 1 group of corporate guests did a discussion/team building exercise near my room. Not only could I hear them when trying to relax but it was also uncomfortable to go to wellness activities in the supplied bathrobe with them there

Ist just so beautiful! The weather was not on our favor, we couldn’t explore outside. But the wellness was fantastic, as well as the whirlpool in our bedroom.

I like almost everything. There was one employee at the reception at the end who wasn’t very friendly and was dismissive when I pointed a problem we had with the shower at 3:00.

Very nice and prepared staff; spotless and quiet bedroom. Very nice and relaxing atmosphere. Amazing breakfast.

This was my second time in the hotel. I went there for the first time for work, and I just had to return for leisure. + The hotel is simply gorgeous and has a relaxing atomosphere + The therme are fantastic: not crowded (sometimes I was in the pool alone!), have a great selection of options (warm water pools, different saunas, massage), well-designed and quiet+ Excellent food, both in quality and variety + Eerything is crafted to create the best tactile sensations: natural stone in the therme, soft towels and bathrobes, cozy rooms. The pillows and the bed sheets deverse a special mention - I had to note down the brand and buy them for myself. All in all, a fantastic experience. Will definitely come again.

Only minor things: for example, some food options are only available on the weekends. Also, when I arrived, the first room I was given had a rather unappealing view. But I asked the reception for a change and got a wonderful new room. It was smaller, but much cozier and had a beautiful garden view.

The breakfast and dinner was great! The rooms were clean. The gym, pool, and sauna were also great!

    7TwpnorgePosted on: 8-28-2023

The room size was good and the spa was good.

No aircondition in the room or facilities while it was very warm outside.

    9FrancoisPosted on: 7-25-2023

    Everything was excellent

There was no ventilation inside the bedroom itself but it went fine as at this period of the year we can open the window and the temperature outside was rather cool for summer. There is here a potential margin of improvement :)

    9SonilaPosted on: 2-16-2023

    It was a quiet place

The mattresses were separate and not a double mattress, it was very uncomfortable. I couldn't sleep.

Interesting design.Their buffet vegan pasta was excellent (i am not vegan)

It's like a maze, the shower is so small when you try to wash your feet you bang your head and butt against the wall.Dinner buffet is only ok.

The castle like building.Breakfast is excellent. The Beds are perfect with extra pillows.A big pool.

The squareface staff at the reception. The Dinner Buffet, The food are bland.

Personnel was always positive, welcoming and accommodating. I was doing some work, and they allowed me to use their conference rooms for making a couple of confidential work calls.Fantastic space also for working by the outdoor pool.

Being an old building with thick walls, might be challenging to get good wifi signal in certain areas. While on one side I would have preferred working in my room, the lack of internet forced me in the lounge or other areas. And that turned into a positive thing..

The Breakfast is very varied and excellent quality.

The attempt to give the impression of an alternative and green Hotel is good but unfortunately the structure has its years and need a serious and deep renovation. The room that was assigned to me lacked a lot of cleanliness and space despite being of a superior category. The price paid is not worth the service given.

    7MelileinPosted on: 12-10-2021

The fortress like building gives a stay there a special touch. The room was amazing and the bed probably one of my best hotel beds ever! The location is nice and even though it is not directly in Düsseldorf we could easily reach it by public transport. The outdoor Spa area is really nice with the lake and 2 small but modern saunas.

The indoor Spa area is rather outdated and water in all the pools was way too cold (even the small 'warm water' pools had us shivering after a few minutes). There was also some construction going on next to the only resting area - it would have been great to get a warning for that.
