- We loved everything about the place: the room, the garden, the restaurant. The beds were pretty comfortable, only pillows should be changed. Everything was clean. It was very quiet at night. The breakfast was exceptional.

I would have appreciated a heads up from the front desk.

No AC, a bit old
The hotel is cosy and well maintainined, in the middle of the forest. Our double room with balcony was quality furnished and confortable.Breakfast is rich and the atmosphere there very quiet .
The parking fee ( even if it is symbolic- 2€ / day) I think is not necesary or at least must be included in the room price. In the end, you are in the middle of a forest, no need to pay for parking as long as you can park anywhere.
The location right on the canal amidst an orchard is outstanding. If you like to paddle or bike or hike, this is the place to stay. We were able to check in early and start our paddling tour right there from the premises. The breakfast was plentiful and the room nice overlooking the orchard. Though we did not have a balcony, we were able to use the outdoor lounge furniture in the huge garden.
The staff would not turn on the steam sauna for us stating that it would take 20 minutes to heat up. It was 7 pm, and the sauna closes at 8! In addition, the jacuzzi had no water in it.Dinner is supposed to be until 9; however, we were told by the staff at 8 that they would remove everything at 8:30, and to hurry. The dinner buffet is not worth the $30 per person, which does not include a drink.
Exceptional location, amazing facilities and staff, and overall a lovely option for a weekend escape from Berlin. Very highly recommended, the hotel exceeded all of our expectations!
