    Pros +

    • Good parking. Decent WiFi.Good staff
    • Every?Thing in the room is outdated and the room is very small.Television doesn't work most of the plugs download work. It's very, very old place and it doesn't worth the money. The breakfast boys ok
    • The hotel staff waited up for us after delays at tunnel meant we arrived after midnight. Truly kind of her.

    Cons -

    • The room was very small. 2 Single beds and a third bed overhead. Very small toilet/shower/washroom in what could pass as a cupboard. There was a big gap around the bottom edge of the room door. Very dark as there is very little natural light. No onsite food/drink apart from a vending machine and a breakfast facility. For evening meal I was directed to a nearby restaurent which itself was a bit chaotic and with a long wait for food to be served - and no alcohol served either! Before retiring I found 2 cockroach scurrying along the skirting board, which I squashed. In the morning the toilet/shower/washroom had multiple cockroach running around.

    Check in, reception very friendly.

Unfortunately we didn't end up staying, and we rebooked elsewhere the rooms were a awful state, stains everywhere. The door barely closed, looked like it had been bashed in and was very unsafe. I was staying with 2 x young children and did not feel safe in that area or hotel. The radiator/heater looked like it had blood smeared over it, fabrics for lampshades were ripped .

Man on reception was friendly and helpful. Very good. Located on main road - easy to get to.

Large areas of paint flaking of walls makes room feel dirty. Very very small room. Does not feel safe. We have stayed with this chain before, they have nice hotels, just not this one.

Very pleasant owner. Very good matras on the bed. Comfortable and no noise.

There was no brush to clean the toilet

    2JulianPosted on: 12-14-2023

    Not much only location.

Too noisy with traffic and residents, very tight inside the rooms. Beds not comfortable at all. Wallpaper peeling off, damp stains all over the walls.

Ideal for a short visit nice friendly staff and good hygiene and cleanliness quiet location

    8LorrainePosted on: 8-24-2023

Good location with bus service outside. Not a lot of space in the rooms but it’s a ‘stop over’ hotel, so not unexpected. Great shower. Plenty of eating spaces and a Lidl within 15 min walk.

We struggled to find just a bar for a beer. The places we tried said they were restaurants and you needed to eat as well. Eventually found Ibis Styles with a bar about 15-20 min walk.

    Passable

The rooms were very old and had damp patches and need repainting.Breakfast area very small and hot.Ait con did not work in either room more of a fan blowing a bit of air out of it.

    Shabby and didn't feel safe

Felt unsafe- although the manager was very friendly he issued a key card to an occupied room which I only found out when I walked in.The motel clearly had families with pets living there full time.My room had broken shower, light switch, one missing and one damaged lamp shade.I know this is a basic hotel (in terms of facilities - I've stayed in them before) but it felt run down and not doing those facilities well.

Great value for money Great staff, very friendly and helpful!

    Room a bit dated

    8JamesPosted on: 7-24-2023

Everything was clean and tidy although a little cramped.

Limited bedding, only 1 very small pillow per person.
