Novotel Mulhouse Bale Fribourg

Excellent position, children appreciate a lot the swimming pool. The 24/24 concierge is also a plus, we arrived at 1h00AM....and no prob!

All good!Just, may be, some coffee in the room amongst the teas would be useful for the early birds

We could use the swimming pool in late afternoon, kids were very happy.

The room was clean and comfortable

The restaurant was really bad! The food for Kids was really bad, also for adults. I even thought they bought finished food in supermarket and served. The restaurant stuff doesn’t speak English and it was really hard to communicate.

Right next to the autoroute so ideal for a stopover. Restaurant serving food til 22h00.Real receptionist at 21h00 not key code. Lovely staff! Free parking. Excellent breakfast and kids ate free.

Service was very slow in restaurant although the waitress was lovely (she was just rushed off her feet so I felt they needed more staff). Food was quite pricey and a small bottle of water exorbitant at €4.70!

Comfortable bed, peace and enough space to relax.

I didn't need it for anything, but it would be perfect if all the lights worked. Two didn't work.

Location- close to motorways. Swimming pool.

Restaurant, poor quality food poor service. Lack of air conditioning in rooms.

Location from motorway. Swimming pool

Restaurant, quality was not good. No air conditioning in rooms

Poor

Couldn‘t sleep the whole night because the air conditioning was not working. Impossible with a 3 year old child.

Food, bathroom was clean and new

Restaurant and breakfast room are improvised with different sorts of chairs placed in the lobby; no toilet brush in the wc; mattress too soft; no airco; no reception; lack of facilities for a 4 stars hotel

Fantastic breakfast, geat variety and quality. Kids corner with lots of toys, great bonus for families

No airconditioning, though fans were provided

Availability of a parking space with locked entrance is great.

4 stars hotel with no air conditioning in the room made the night really challenging due to the hot weather.

It is located at a good location, next to the highway.

It’s very old and not properly maintained. There is no AC in the room and it gets really hot in summer. We couldn’t sleep even if we opened the windows.

Convenient locationGood sized family room

Hot room!

Avoid at all cost! Basic hotel charging 4 star prices. Staff unfriendly, room dirty and smelly, 30 degrees and no aircon

Unwelcoming staff, room dirty, very basic hotel. Asked to speak to manager but he left at 15:00, half a day manager I guess.

This is a very comfortable clean hotel staff were helpful perfect place for us to stop

Everything was perfect no complaints x

Good location for the stopover from the south. Swimming pool was comfortable. Room was clean and wifi was super good.

It's not the hotel's fault but we should have been careful and chosen an air-conditioned hotel in the hot summer season. Learned that Novotel also has a variety of hotel types.

The food was very good and the staff and it was lovely to use a swimming pool The bed was very Comfortable and the telly was good with some English channels well done

The rooms were a little dated and need a freshen up doors very badly scratched carpets little old

Room was refurbished. Clean and functionable.

Menu in restaurant does not offer much variety.

We picked this hotel as it was close to a tesla Supercharger and we were enroute to Switzerland. We've previously stays at the novotel chain and generally had good experiences.Unfortunately in this instance we had incorrectly booked the wrong date with booking.com, but within a minute of finding out that we had booked the wrong date it was impossible to change the date. In the end I made a second booking with the aim of speaking to the hotel about the possibility of a refund or change of date. Sadly this was not possible so very unhappy about this...

Sadly during our stay we were placed in a room where we had to navigate across workmen and dust sheets. Not the most pleasant of experiences when you have a small child in tow. Sadly as well we were placed in a dated room that looked nothing like the newly refurbished room pictures online. A case of mis-selling perhaps? Not to mention the booking issues we had as previously described in the section above...

The breakfast was great, games for kids too!

The sofa bed was noisy throughout the night (where my kids slept).
