Be more client oriented
We received rooms in 15:30, and the check out is at 10:00 am, it is not comfortable. Very strict and not pleasant woman on reception.
Fantastic hotel, the design is futuristic yet cosy and beautiful, the kids were absolutely amazed. You get a feeling on living on a ship, especially with a Captain's Cabin, the bunk beds looked like small boats, and the window overlooked the pools oasis.
I wish I knew that the only fine dining restaurant on site is very busy, and it has to be booked in advance. Otherwise you are left with a fast food style restaurant, which is perfectly OK for lunch (you can enter it from the Thermal complex as well, in your bathrobe), but we really preferred something more elegant and nice for dinner. Also please have in mind (something very unclear from the room description on this website) that the Captain's Cabin can accommodate up to 4 kids (the top bunk beds are probably for kids up to 10-12 y.o., but the lower beds are of proper single bed size. Also, there is a hidden sliding partition, a very good wooden one, which we only noticed by the end of our stay. So parents can enjoy their privacy, and kids have their own small room with a separate sink and toilet. A very well thought room planning.
The relax time is amazing, the rooms are always clean and comfortable. The breakfast is beautiful
I love it all
Staff was nice, it was clean, and location is great.
Really bad bathrooms design, zero privacy in them. Looks fancy at first but then you realize you have zero privacy when you enter a bathroom. There is no regular doors just a weird useless piece of glass providing you zero privacy and comfort inside the bathroom. Everything else was OK but bathrooms as such are 0/10 and ruining the stay in the hotel if you ask me. Also would be nice to have both a bathtub and a shower inside the bathroom, not just a basic standing shower. Fancy looks but little practical use and zero privacy. Which on the end makes the price way too expensive. Also free hotel WiFi was basically useless, didnt work at all, so there was basically no internet in the rooms. All together 3/10
The boat beds are so cool- the children loved them! We spent 9 hours swimming and it was amazing !
Maybe some healthier food options around the pool area
Clean, modern, comfortable and nice food- cute themed rooms and the terme is amazing
This is an amazing hotel, quite new and very clean. Styled like a ship which was actually very cool. Incredible variety of breakfast foods on offer, and extremely helpful and kind reception staff who explained everything to us (in English)! The adjacent Therme spa is AWESOME!! We wanted to stay another few days, and will be back in future.
No minibar or kettle in the rooms. Kids bed mattresses slightly firm. The hotel is in a fairly remote location so you need a car (or taxi) to get there.
Family rooms designed, therme erding , helpful staff , breakfast, cleanliness
No electric kettle , value of money
Clean, nice facilities, nice staff
Overly crowded, expensive
It’s attached to the Therme pools and the do rfid chips so you don’t have to carry around money. Adam the omelette man was really friendly. He’s American and was nice enough to give us a list of thing to see while we were out in Munich. Didn’t get to say thanks but thanks Adam lol my kids wished they could have said bye too lol
Um there wasn’t much to not like…. The food options were mostly junk food but I didn’t eat at the nice restaurant though.
Best water park in the world is correct. Absolutely amazing.
Set up for European tourists. So not many local dining options(burger, pizza, Italian, Thai, churros, crepes, all good but would be nice to have a few more indigenous options). To be fair the wave pool bar has schnitzel and curry wursts.
Breakfast was as expected at this kind of upper scale hotel - large selection of items. Theme is a cruise ship though not very evident. Staff was friendly and hotel very clean.Rooms were fine and clean. Very comfortable bed. Good shower facility. No bidet. View serene towards a large green field. Only problem was that there were some guests smoking on their room's balcony which meant that I uoften kept myself in the room to avoid the second hand smoke.
1. Room has no mini bar/fridge so there is no option to store some cold refreshment etc.2. There is no real option for light meals unless you enter the spa - just the entrance is 32 Euros.3. The closest shopping center is about a 2 km walk away.4. I was there solo. Possibly as a couple or family would have been more enjoyable.5. It is a pricey vacation - on top of the hotel price and in order to enjoy the facilities of the Spa you should add about 40 Euros a day excluding food and drinks.
My room was super clean and comfortable. I wish I could have stayed an extra night. My son had so much fun. Time was too short.
The fact that there was no kettle to boil water. My mother drinks only hot water and I had literally beg for hot water from different Restaurants. Secondly no Mini refridgirators in the rooms...was that intentional?
Breakfasts were great. We love the town of Erding, so location was also great. Nice that the adult areas are separated from the small children. This was our second vacation at this location, and are planning to come again. We don't have children at home any more, but if you have kids and are looking for a place that will provide hours of healthy, protected play time and entertainment you could not do any better than the Victory.
Even though we like coming and will come again, it's a little expensive. We get a lot for our money, but it is NOT a bargain.
Conceptually, every effort was made by the designers to create a paradise, and one must admit that it does indeed make one think he is in the garden of Eden. I did not expect to find such a large complex of beautifully arranged attractions to suit every age and taste, from restaurants and culinary amenities to water slides, wave pools, saunas, and adult luxury wellness services. One could easily spend a week and always find new areas to explore in the labyrinth paradise.
