    • Central location. Lovely building. Atmospheric restaurant. Friendly English speaking reception.

    Cons -

    • The staff was rude at check in. We had an early flight the next morning and we were informed that teh desk would not open until 7:00 a.m. We had to leave the key with a hotel staff and could not check out.
    • Taxi to the airport was €50 euros one way too dear for a short trip
    • Bed pillows poor. No kettle in room.

Quaint property. Rooms were Germany style as opposed to being modern cookie cutter. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Lovely town to explore.

Old hair dryers where you have to continually press power button to operate. Poor lighting in room.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Great showers. Enjoyed a beer in the hotel bar. We were only there for a layover, and wish we could have stayed longer!

Instructions for finding keys after hours could have been clearer (can't see colors in the dark!), and the instructions in the key box were in German even though we'd been messaging in English over Booking.com, so we weren't entirely sure about parking.

We were looking for a spot close to Munich Intl Airport to spend the night prior to our flight home. What we found was a great little German town filled with small town shops my wife lived and that had its own Christmas market and ice rink literally right across the from the hotel. We really didn’t have any expectations before arriving but the town really impressed.

Great location, excellent customer service and great breakfast buffet.

Location is perfect, very central. Good choice for breakfast. A traditional hotel for the region.Couldn't fault it

Lack of a kettle. Request room at the back ,close to church bells.

Great location, very clean and comfortable. Staff were all really welcoming

Early morning cleaning, this did disturb us as our room was over the bar entrance

This is our 4th time staying here. We love it! Hotel is fabulous with a true Bavarian style. The town is equally as fabulous.

    Absolutely nothing!

Located within 15 minutes of Munich Airport in the center of the quaint town of Erding. Good restaurant on premises although reservations are recommended as it is busy every evening. Private underground parking on a first come first serve basis at a reasonable cost accesible directly by elevator. We've always arrived early so finding a spot was not a problem. One should be aware that front desk for check in is only available until 16:00 after which check in by lock-box. This is clearly explained when booking so it should not be a surprise.

    location

We arrived at the hotel on October 8th, 2025, around 3:30 PM, after a five-hour drive from northern Italy. This was already our fifth or sixth stay at the property.A Day before our arrival, we received a clear message from the hotel reminding us to complete check-in before 4:00 PM, which we appreciated and complied with.Upon arrival, however, we were met by a front desk clerk whose attitude was shockingly unpleasant: rude, cynical, and condescending in both tone and manner. Her behavior was completely inconsistent with our previous experiences at this hotel. It was hard to ignore that her attitude toward us was markedly different from the way she greeted other guests of different backgrounds, to whom she spoke warmly and kindly.During the check-in process, she made disrespectful and inappropriate remarks, creating a very uncomfortable experience for our family. Such behavior is unacceptable and unprofessional, especially in a hotel that prides itself on hospitality.Aside from this unfortunate encounter, the hotel’s location is excellent, but the rooms need urgent improvement in the rooms. the beds are old and squeaky, the pillows are worn out, and the hallway leading to the rooms passes right by the restaurant, often filled with unpleasant smells. We truly hope the management will take this feedback seriously and ensure that future guests are treated with respect and dignity, as we’ve come to expect in all our previous stays here.

This hotel is small, friendly and located right in the center of Erding (and is attached to the Erding Bierstube). Access to the reception is in a rear square that is reachable by foot from the high street or from the rear hof if you are in a car (you can also unload your car from the high street - but you can't park on the high street for long). Parking was easy when we were there - either at the rear 'Hof' or in the underground parking house (which costs only €7 per night). Access to the high street is fantastic - straight out of the hotel and you are there. If you are looking to get into Münich the S2 is less than 10min walk away (and takes about 50mins). The hotel was exceptionally clean and very well outfitted - the lift is similarly clean and modern, but take the stairs with ornate forged banisters. You can access the restaurant directly from the hotel (you should book in advance) - great Bier Hall food. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast can be taken in the restaurant (or there are some very good bakers in the high street).

The rear Hof is not so easy to find and you need to look hard to find the sign. The reception does close at 16:00 so if you are arriving later be sure to obtain instructions for the key box.

Food ,service from staff, bar facilities

For what we came for a bit far from Munich but manageable as trains and buses 10 minutes from hotel

    Good

Third floor room was hot! Booking stated there was air conditioning, but once we checked in there was a notice in the room that there was a ventilation problem and no air conditioning!! Should have been told up front. Made it very hard to sleep.

Great location, lovely quiet room, excellent secure parking at a very reasonable rate, excellent on site restaurant.

    Nothing obvious!
