Ideal for the late check in and early check out. Close to be eateries and the motorway

Rooms were cold and the heating didn’t work very well

The sheets had dirt in then, the towels had some brown stains, the overall cleanliness of the room was sub standard

Bicycle parking is not very secure with only outdoor wheel bender racks.

Clean modern hotel close to motorways. Gated free parking. It was raining heavily when we arrived on our motorcycle and many of the gravelled parking bays were flooded. Light continental breakfast. Our Room was very small. Not much room to put luggage. Nice restaurant called Crocodile just a couple mins walk away. Most amazing buffet.

The scrambled egg at breakfast was the powdered sort and not very nice.

Great place to aim for off the ferry on our road trips south about an hour from Calais.Great buffet restaurant 5 minute walk crocodile restaurant

Computer terminal screen on check in couldn't be seen because of sun glare. When we eventually got our access number it still wouldn't open the door. We had to call for help multiple times on the intercom....the team were helpful and spoke English which helped and the issue that should not have happened was eventually fixed and we gained access to the hotel and our room

Often use as a stop over hotel. Parking is good.

Breakfast is not so good - the eggs and bacon.Other B&B have water and coffee in the room.

The double bed was really big and comfortable.

The air con was very noisy and didn’t work well.

Room was cold, damp and smelly. It’s supposed to be a smoke free hotel but it stunk of smoke in the lift, corridors and our room. Woke up to the smell of smoke in our bathroom which was strange! Our room was also dusty and not very clean at all.

The mattresses are great. This hotel chain is a no nonsense facility and serves the purpose. Good for an overnight trip or stopover.

When we went the payment system was down and so we could not get an entry in our hotel room. I made a mistake that I did not prepay. Always remember to prepay so that we straight away get the hotel 6 digit entry code. And one will not be stuck outside.

Room was fine in terms of size. Bed was comfortable. Usual continental style breakfast was perfectly adequate. Parking at hotel was fine. Male receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Hotel location was perfect in terms of our activities and route planning. 10% discount for hotel guests at nearby Crocodile Restaurant - a very good place to eat!

Self service check-in machine, its rubbsh. Does not work fir group bookings. We stayed at this location two years ago. It didnt work then, and it ddnt work on this trip despite our best efforts and despite following instructions. Thankfully receptionist turned up at 17.00 hours and booked us in. Position of shower head in bathroom was also a little strange abd led to overflow of water onto bathroom floor.

The hotel at Lievin is well sited for a group of 15 WW1 battlefield tourists. The rooms were well priced and the breakfast started the day off well.

I was a single occupant in a twin room. The room was very small and there was no door on the shower so every time I had a shower, the bathroom floor puddled and my room was not cleaned or attended on 2 days out of 5, so my bath mat was soaking wet and I had to re-use damp towels.
