    Pros +

    • The pool is all that the hotel has, and feels like everyone is paying just for that.
    • breakfast was great, its close to the coast, room was clean and the staff is friendly.
    • It was generally good for a break from routine.

    Cons -

    • Food was bad, drinks were really dilutated. Overall the hotel is overpriced for what you get.
    • Limited on property parking that is payed, the building needs more elevators during peak traffic, your stuck waiting a long time. The stairs from a certain floor upwards are not worth to walk down or up.
    • The playground by the pool was noisy until midnight due to children screaming inconsiderately. The door key needs to be reset daily because the magnetic bar is affected by mobile interference. It's quite strange!

Great water slides for the kids, although it was freezing! They really should have it heated during the winter to make it more enjoyable for guests. Loved how ice pops were included in the AI, never seen that in a hotel before.Liked the location, only a short walk to the beach, shops, bars/restaurants.Food was ok but not the best I’ve had in a 4* but we all managed to find something we liked for our 3 night stay. We had 2 connecting rooms. Beds were very big & comfortable. We had enough space within the two rooms for the five of us.

You can hear A LOT in your room. The walls must be very thin because I could even hear the room above us flushing their toilet. You could clearly hear people in the corridors too. Definitely the noisiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in.Didn’t love the snack bar food choice, not sure if it’s seasonal but you could only have a toastie, nuggets, burger & chips which you had to order. I’d have liked fruit and salad too. Parking was €12 a day which I don’t really agree with. If a hotel has a carpark on site then it should be free for guests. No fitness suite which my husband was really disappointed about as he is a regular gym user. Evening entertainment wasn’t great. It was too loud for the size of the room & it was aimed more at Spanish. No kettle in the room (I love a cuppa first thing).

Everyone was so welcoming, nothing was ever too much.Beach was so close by, entertainment was fun, pools great but honestly the staff are the star of the show.

We were pleasantly surprised, it was clean and well kept. The rooms were tiny and basic but had everything we needed. The food was pretty decent, these kinds of places cater to a British crowd but there were some good local dishes and international options on offer. We couldn't do this for more than a few days but it was for the kids really at the end of a week with the grandparents. The kids club was fun, and gives you a break, and the staff were wonderful. Unfortunately the weather dipped and it was too cold to really enjoy the water park but when they did manage it it was great fun. Everyone was friendly and pretty chilled so was easy to just relax and let the children go wild.

I've no complaints, it's a package holiday all inclusive and does exactly that.

Great location, great facilities for the kids, our third visit and won’t be our last ☺️

For a family room it was a bit cosy!

Everything was clean, breakfast was great, staff was friendly and water park itself was amazing, although the water was absolutely freezing cold in May :(

Hotel room was extremely noisy. On the other side we had a family who carried on fighting until 2-3am. Could hear every word, as our rooms were joined by a door (there was even one centimeter under the door where we could see their into their room). On another side was a family with a small baby who woke up around 4-5. Did not sleep much…

    Entertainment and location

Maids never changed the beds once. Pool freezing all of them and food is not good at all inedible most of it.

We loved the waterpark area, the food was amazing as well as the cocktails ?, the staff were friendly and accommodating. The location was lovely near the beach. We loved it had a childrens park with swings and slide.

The only thing i did not like was the rooms where slightly outdated and very little sunbeds, but overall great stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Los Patos. The pool was incredible, both kids and adults enjoyed immensely, the staff was friendly, helpful and available. The buffet had a large variety of food and the changing menus from day to day were a hit.

The buffet had vegetarian options, but they were often not clearly marked which made it difficult for the children to navigate the buffet independently. Vegetarian options in the snack bar would also have been appreciated (besides french fries).

Lovely staff. Very clean. Good pools. Value for money.

Not many activities for 10 year old grandson. Wine on tap wasn't good.

Fantastic venue for families - the water park kept my 2 boys (14 and 11) amused for hours. They have multiple lifeguards on duty, and it feels safe. The water is unheated, so I'm glad we took their shortie wetsuits (we visited in April). We also paddled in the sea - the beach is a very short walk away. They were interested in the shooting but too young (16+) and never got round to going to the kids' club because they spent all their time in the pool. Check the daily screen and plan bookable activities in advance.Aircon, decent bathrooms, interconnecting door between our 2 rooms, free pool towels (cash deposit payable). Fridge in room. We loved the balcony and the drying rack was very useful. The hotel food is OK and plentiful. Not much choice for lunch at the poolside cafe if you don't eat chips or bread. Benalmadena is a pretty little place with a decent choice of restaurants. Everyone we met inside the hotel and beyond was friendly and helpful.

The grey synthetic bed covers were clean and smart but not cosy. They slipped off every night. But the sheets were white cotton and super clean. The hotel is a bit noisy, with very few soft surfaces to absorb the sound, especially during the evening entertainment.

Great facilities staff very friendly and good choice of food that’s why we returned.

To be honest I’ve only knocked down as we had a nightmare with the people in the room next to us. Shouting and screaming not nice experience and also really scary for me let alone my son. The room we had this time was smaller, last time had 2 big beds so better for us. The bathroom configuration was weird sink to big for the room or in the wrong position… The hotel was to busy to move rooms so couldn’t be helped just people put a bit of a downer on it but you can’t help that.. would of been nice if something was done for my sons birthday too but I understand it’s a busy hotel and not that level..

The saff were fantastic. It is a fantastic resort for children and families.

The food wasn't fantastic but was eatable and the rooms aren't the biggest but don't like this put you off I would definitely go back
