Sahara Sunset

It was a quiet accommodation very close to a beach and many restaurants. The landscaping was very nice, and our 1 bedroom suite was equipped with everything you might need.

Finding a parking spot was very difficult, and the resort does not have private parking. Also, the bedroom had a blinking fire alarm light on the ceiling, quite faint, but enough to disturb me at night. There is no elevators, for most rooms use stairs.

Everything in the apartment was clean, beds comfortable..2 bed apt was really big. Facilities and staff were amazing.. restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. Will be back 100%

This place is a winner! Great location, very very clean, super friendly staff! Room was very well maintained, property is well managed!

We had a few issues with our room and the hotel was very prompt in taking care of them.

We had a large balcony with a partial ocean view but could only see the ocean when standing. The balcony railing is concrete and when sitting completely blocks your view. No elevator just steps up to our room and they were not lit at night so we had to use the flash light on our phones to see. Parking is very limited.

Gorgeous hotel pool area was lovely and strict rules so everyone enjoyed the facilities. Rooms were spacious and very good quality

Just some building work going on with the indoor pool which wasn't open unfortunately and we were not told. Some people also reserved sun beds but it was quite well policed by the life guard

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent, the apartment was comfortable, and the staff were welcoming and attentive — a special mention goes to Stéphanie for her outstanding service.

For future guests, I recommend booking an apartment with a view, as it makes the experience even more enjoyable.

The location is great. Apartments had all amenities needed for a family.

More Sun beds needed or pool attendants need to remove towels from beds that haven't been used for over 1 hour. Some beds in apartments could be updated.

The location in the center of Benalmadena. Close to restaurants and the beach. Suitable for families.

It's weird but no one mentions it in the reviews. A noise all the nights until morning coming from dozens of seagulls screaming loudly. It prevents you from sleeping properly.

Lovely accommodation in a great location in Benalmadena. Nice quiet pool in our complex and a bigger one in the main complex. We had a two bedroom apartment for 8 nights and it was cleaned twice during the week. Staff at reception and cleaning were very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend for a stay.

Apartment could have being cleaned a little more often (and bed clothes changed maybe once throughout our stay)but when the place was cleaned it was done to a great level.

A stag party group moved in the room next to us. The staff did eventually move us to another room, because the behaviour of the stag party was horrible.

Everything was very good. Room was spacious and beds very comfortable. Well equipped with everything you needed. A bit of a walk to the Marina but lots of restaurants and bars near by. Overall enjoyed our stay and would rate Sahara Sunset and recommend to friends.

So close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Our 2 bed apartment was newly refurbished and was lovely and washing machine meant we were able to wash and dry our clothes before we went home so no post holiday washing piles. Staff were very helpful. My sons loved the mini golf.

Having to pay €10 per day for the indoor pool was ridiculous as pools are usually part of hotel facilities. Totally understand paying for use of spa, massage etc. outdoor pools were freezing even on hotter days 22 degrees so use of indoor money was just money making scheme as life guard was positioned at outdoor pool!! Inflatables are not allowed in the outdoor pool which is fine as linos etc can obstruct people use especially if pool is busy but we witnessed life guards refusing young children to use a rubber ring in the pool to help them swim. Kids were very young and rubber ring is a swimming aid like arm bands and life jacket and the pool was empty on all occasions. The complex and apartment are ideal for families due to apartment size, self catering, proximity to everything especially with young kids and prams; however because of this rule and how strictly and uncomfortably it was enforced I would advise any families with young kids not to use this property. Parents want to swim with their kids on holiday but to watch them being asked to remove their child and rubber ring from the pool was very uncomfortable to watch especially as the children were simply swimming and no one else was in the pool. It is a shame that there is not a level of discretion or flexibility shown. Life guard staff let the complex down.

Great location to restaurants and beach, how modern it was, fully equipped kitchen, spacious studio apartment with sea view, very friendly staff, incredible facilities, beautiful pool area, great food.

loved the location and staff and cleanliness very helpfull but there alot of steps so i be concerned about elderly and the main pool is not heated it was very cold to get in i know there a indoor pool but if your sitting by the pool and the kids want to be near steps and cold pool
