Hotel Best Benalmadena

This is our second stay and we returned because the first experience was so pleasant. However, this time, we were persuaded to purchase the all inclusive 'dinner' drinks. When we checked out we discovered that the restaurant offered us a premium drink that was not included and had to pay a rather hefty surcharge upon departure. This was not explained to us when we purchased the package/at the restaurant. When we checked out, we expressed out disappointment and were just told that 'the restaurant should have informed us'. This is not acceptable or what we expected from a resort of this calibre. Sadly, we will not be returning.

The breakfast was only OK and air conditioning was only OK too but had a lovely stay

Hotel quiet outdated. Not recommended for 4 star hotel No coffee machine or kettle to make tea in the room.House keepers did not change our bed linens. We had to call the reception to complain and it was resolved.

The hotel had everything that you required, The pool area was lovely the dining hall was excellent, we had B&B and the breakfasts were brilliant. The size of the room and bathroom was generous.

The hotel was a little tired looking and so was our room. It was located right at the end of the resort so we hadto get cabs everywhere.

When on pool deck was almost hit by a half full pepsi can that had fallen/blown from a room balcony above

Need update bathroom and the smell in a toilet was discasting they shoud put some air freshner?‍♀️

The swimming pools are great, especially the one with jacuzzi. Food was brilliant, we loved the choice every day. There was some attractions for everyone, like a pool table indoors or a restaurant, open bar downstairs. The location is amazing, close to the airport, Malaga, shops, beach and sea.

Lovely big room, great maid service and fresh towels each day. Nice staff in the dining area.

4 out of 5 of our group were sick during the 3 days we stayed. My son was sick a few hiyrs after his first meal at tje snack bar, my friend was actually sick during dinner, my daughter was vomiting by Day 3. Cross contami action of raw and cooked chicken being served at dinner, too many people touching the same serving utensils, snack bar area was not clean.

The room and view were excellent and staff were great. Location was fine for us and we had free parking out front. Coffee facilties and fridge worked well and great hot power shower.

On arrival there was a coffee/kettle left over from last guest but no cups, next day we had 2 kettles and cups etc! then after that no coffee cups, a minor thing but we ended up buying cups. The gym only opens from 10-6.30 which is pain as I wanted to use it in the morning before we headed off. The breakfast was basic, some of the food was cold and left too long.

Location to sea was excellent with a sea view.Staff were polite, friendly and helpful - excellent.Breakfast was extensive - good selection of hot and cold buffet.

Pool area was cleaned daily but the sunbeds were dirty.Room needed updating and was grubby.Corridor carpets were very stained and needed a wet clean.

Very friendly staff, with a fantastic location right next to the beach with great views. The facilities are wonderful, there's 2 pools, a spa, gym & a large breakfast selection. the rooms were clean & tidy, and we were lucky enough to get a room facing the sea which was amazing, especially for watching the sunset. Staff were very nice and always happy to help. The rooms were cleaned daily and on our last day, they even brought up a fruit plate and a bottle of prosecco as a farewell gift which was a very nice touch! Great hotel, amazing staff and would highly recommend to anyone staying in Banalmadena

Location good not too close to the Marina but nice walking distance. Nice pool area. Drinks not expensive.

Food was average for a 4 star. Better choice of food/snacks needed round the pool. Plastic plate of fries not 4 star standard.

Great staff, super location, nice room.

There is a problem with this Hotel with people going down with Sickness and Diarrhoea. I was affected myself and was ill for over 24 hours, I also spoke to a few other people who were affected by the same issues. We saw a Spanish lady in the lift who had boxes of sickness medicines, in fact the same medicine which was given to me by a local Phamacist. We hardly ate in hotel after my sickness and we were very careful what we ate.

There was a good selection of food but not to my taste
