Cons -
- I didn't sleep well because the bed / mattress was very soft and the room was hot
- Bar staff were beyond rude. To the point they completely ignored us
- My child found a huge bug on thr floor, it means the rooms are not sprayed properly and their was even a bottle of water in our room, normally as a 4-star hotel, atleast two bottles of water should be provided

The room was nice and spacious and the breakfast was good.
I booked a delux room and they gave me a standard room. After complaining they changed it to what I booked for.
The food and atmosphere in the restaurant were really good. Comfortable mattress, size of the room.
There was an unpleasant smell of cigarettes in the room.
The bedroom was spacious and barge bed. We also had a jacuzzi bath which we didn’t book but must have been upgraded. The restaurant food was delicious although a bit pricey. There is a truck stop restaurant joined on to the hotel which has equally delicious food but for a more reasonable price. Well worth a visit
The reception check in was rather slow
Friendly service, clean. The breakfast was delicious . Has everything you need.❤️loved the way the lights are turned on and off. Good place to stay and relax. We needed that. Thank you
We arrived early, but our room was ready. We had a simple lunchtime snack/beer - vey welcome. Spacious room - well appointed. Unusually it had a bath. Our evening meal was really nice. It had a safe feel for our two motorcycles parked at the front of the hotel.
Everything is good. Staff lovely, nice restaurant with good food, nice rooms. Value for money.I really recommend this hotel.
Late overnight stop during Euro 2024. Arrived late and left early so didn’t try the breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful, room and beds were comfortable.
Very easy to get to on our long journey. Large clean room and friendly staff. We found this place by chance many years ago. We've used it ever since when we are down this way.
Had good sleep, bath was good and breakfast.
No southern comfort
The breakfast has a nice variety and seemed fresh but not a lot for a hotel this size but maybe they were catering for how many numbers they had staying.
The room was tidy but didn’t feel clean. The carpets felt dirty so I didn’t want to take my shoes off so couldn’t relax. The pillows were really worn and poor quality. The bathroom again looked tidy but didn’t feel clean, I could still smell Mens deodorant/products. It felt like someone had come in and changed towels and bedding but hadn’t bothered to clean. The hotel overall felt a little tired and underwhelming. It was very quiet for the time of year and the staff were ok, a little standoffish, not friendly at all. The girl that checked us in was ok. At breakfast we were met with suspicion wanting to know what room we in to see if we’d paid rather than a friendly greeting. The outside area was poorly kept and looked forgotten about so we didn’t want to sit out there for long. It felt like we were staying in a tired hotel at the end of season not peak season so definitely not worth the price we paid.
Sauna, pool, restaurant
Ash trays everywhere, people were smoking outside next to their rooms and the cigarette smoke prevented us from opening terrace "window". Also, very often during early mornings, cigarette smoke came through AC vents and filled the room. I did not experience this last year this was the only thing I really did not like this time.
Good for a further bus connection travel.
A guy touched me on purpose in the steam bath. The staff spoke to him but there needs to be extra cameras. First time in my life and a scary experience which meant I didn’t use the facilities of pool ect because of this asshole guest/guy. I am 57!! So this incident is so weird I can’t describe it.
Great location, family rooms, friendly staff, great food
staff lovely and professional parking fabulous rooms lovely
hotal was a bit tooooooo hot
Perfect location! Clean and convenient. Lovely staff.
DON'T RECOMMEND AT ALL
I don't know how this place isn't rated the WORST.We were there for 6 days for our honeymoon, no less, and they absolutely destroyed our experience. In 6 days our room was only cleaned ONCE!!!And even that happened only after we complained more than once.We found ourselves returning to the room (the honeymoon suite, more like garbage & dust can) after 11/12 hours outside - just to find we don't have clean towels, no toilet paper, our sheets were still dirty from the day before when wr returned from a festival and were a bit muddy when we passed out on the bed the first night - same dirt awaited us the following day etc etc.Even after complaining several times and being promised it will be handled, nothing changed and we stayed in this disgusting room, which by the way - was already dirty when we arrived with stains on the curtains, bathroom walls, the floor carpets were nasty etc.The bathroom by the way, in this "honeymoon suite", are the tiniest I've seen - when you sit on the toilet your knees touch the door and the shower stall is also very small next to the toilet. No decent light in the room too, and no AC, we asked for a fan at least. After trying again to speak to them about all that happened and the fact that we didn't get any value for our money (and it wasn't cheap!) - they blew us off anf eventually just offered a "complimentary breakfast" when they know we live on the other side of the world basically and won't come back anytime soon, definitely not there.Anyway - I do not recommend at all!Find a better place to stay.
Clean and modern hotel with nice facilities including a pool (unfortunately not heated). Our stay could have been a very good experience however, there were some serious issues.
Our car club booked nearly the entire hotel months in advance for a weekend stay. The hotel said they would have appropriate staff on site in order to accommodate our group. Unfortunately, they failed to have proper staff present and many of our people waited for over 2 hours for their food at the restaurant and they didn’t open the bar. The food was not very good and the portions were small and expensive. The menu has few options and the majority of our group were dissatisfied with their dinner experience. The staff themselves were pleasant but they were visibly a bit upset at the fact they were understaffed and overwhelmed.
