Amazing location, very friendly staff, very quiet.

Martin and his team took great care of us. Our flight was in the evening and Martin gave us a good late check out offer to make sure we could spend the day in the villa comfortably. Food portion was huuuge and the menu changes every day. Would be nice to have more options for starters and dessert for dinner menu. The view from our Sundowner villa was impeccable.

The sundowner villa was recently renovated so there was some lingering smell of the renovation. The staffs sent in some natural air refreshener and it helped.

From the moment you step into Qambani, the breathtaking views of the ocean and the hotel's exclusive design leave you speechless.The intimate hotel features private villas; we stayed in the Plantation Room with beautiful ocean and garden views, a complimentary mini-bar, a coffee machine, excellent bathroom amenities, and great air conditioning. The top-floor open space was perfect for sunsets.The professional staff are always available, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The hotel offers excursions, parking, and an amazing massage therapist. I enjoyed deep tissue massages on my terrace with the sounds of birds and the ocean. The food is exceptional, meeting or exceeding European standards, with fresh fruit, a diverse breakfast menu, and varied three-course dinners. The bar offers a wide variety of cocktails and wines, with the Qambani cocktail being a must-try.Housekeeping services twice a day included beautiful flower decorations, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. The property is extremely clean and pleasant to walk around. Every detail is well thought out, making Qambani the best hotel we've ever stayed at and worth every euro. Ideal for a quiet getaway, it also suits small weddings, honeymoons, and meetings. Thank you, Qambani team, for an unforgettable holiday. We will definitely return.

WiFi a little slow in the villa. Meat sometimes overcooked but all in all one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at and I would definitely visit again.

It was our second stay at Qambani and once again the experience was outstanding. From the pick-up at the airport to the drop-off everything was handled professionally and extremely well by the team. If you are looking for a very private atmosphere in an luxury and attentive environment Qambani is a safe bet.

We had the best time staying at Qambani with out 2 kids (2,5y and 4,5y)! Every single individual working there was absolutely exceptional - always so kind, helpful and warm. They helped us organize all our activities and transfers and they prepared such special bday celebration for me. The property is beautiful, very relaxing and peaceful. Food is delicious. Food offer quite repetitive after some days, very large quantities (waste!).

We had the pleasure to stay one week at the Castaway Villa. The complete team did an amazing job fulfilling the promise to provide a home far away from home and to go even beyond. Our holidays literally started the moment we got of the airport and ended when the driver dropped us. Everything in between was taken care of including organizing day trips. The facilities as well as the food are one of a kind and if you are looking for top of the notch service paired with pure privacy then this is your choice.

From the moment we arrived, Maite made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. She even recommended local attractions and made sure we had all the information we needed to make the most of our stay. Maite's attention to detail truly made our stay exceptional. the property is secluded which is exactly what we were looking for. When we did want to venture into town transfers were handled and it was always smooth and straightforward. The food was spectacular! you can request to eat anywhere on the property to enjoy whatever view you’re feeling (pool, lobby, room etc). Each day a few options for lunch were shared, and a set menu for dinner. Food was fresh, generous portions and scrumptious. We got a nice mixture of Zanzibari cuisine and international options.

A few critters/creepy crawlies made their way into our room. Expected as we are on an island

Extremely beautiful property, very relaxing, secluded setting, amazing food, and super friendly staff. The hotel manager, Maite was delightful. She was always there to make sure everything was going ok and helped with local suggestions. She helped make it such a wonderful stay, almost like being home. All the meals at the hotel were exceptional, and attention to detail was high. And the pool was one of the most beautiful pools we've ever swam in! We can't wait to go back again.

The GM & staff were really friendly and they made our stay so relaxing and easy. The overall vibe and feel of the hotel was homely and even the guests it attracts are warm and friendly. It was just a good atmosphere all round and its close to busy locations while still being a quiet, private & tranquil hotel.

The private road it is in is a bit of track which we were not expecting. But this does mean there are no passers by and you feel even more isolated because of it, which is nice.

Qambani is absolutely fantastic! The villa was amazing, beyond our expectations. Vast bedroom, beautiful decor, incredible views, lots of seating areas.The main area is beautiful, overlooking the sea, wide windows everywhere. The pool was big, perfect water temperature. Staff is thoughtful.Even did our laundry for free.The food is excellent, menu changes everyday and you can make special requests (for instance, we wanted lobsters for dinner so they prepared for us). Incredible fruit shakes and smoothies, the best we've had in Zanzibar. We recommend to book full board to enjoy all meals plus snacks in between.

You are surrounded by nature, but there were too many ants, we even had to switch seating during dinner because there were ants all over the table. We think this issue should be treated.Waiting time for food can be long sometimes (waited 40 minutes for breakfast), and some dishes were not served hot.Also, they should provide a better toilet paper.

The overall built quality and architecture is top of the notch! Amazing, quite location, beautiful luxury houses with elegant african inside design. Super clean rooms, fully equipped, beautiful view from the villas. Food was simplyamazing, the best what we had in Zanzibar. super friendly, very helpful and professional staff. The manager runs the place excellently. It is difficult to put in words how fantastic our stay was, by far on top of our lists of experiences we had around the world!

How can i describe my words for the most cozy place i have ever been in, I really like every thing from the beginning of the welcoming until the good bye moment. The resort is like you are living in a paradise and you live like a king in his kingdom. The villa was so nice with african and traditional decorations. The smiles from all the staffs and the behavior of them are beyond the expectations.Moreover, i will not forget the most delicious food I have tasted ever in my life. I want to thank all the kitchen staff for their high quality food and service. I really can’t stop thinking about the days I stayed in this resort. I really hope to visit it again. Oh, also thank you so much for the honeymoon preparation and the amazing surprise that you do for us. Thank you so much from my heart.

All the staff were fantastic from moment of arrival. Absolutely beautiful property - elegant, open and breezy, cool furnishings and art. Great food, outdoor shower, smelled nice, comfy bed. Just wonderful.

Really hard to think of anything we didn't like. I guess it would have been nice to have a clearer view down to the beach, less grass in the way. But its a cliff, you can only landscape so close....
