    Pros +

    • Nice building, great location,
    • Help from the office
    • great style of hotel, friendly staff

    Cons -

    • Gym & pool, you had a limit of 1 hour for both.......so you wouldn't be able to use both. 5 star hotel, yes it has the facilities, but when severely restricted I would rather go to the Hilton and use the facilities without the 5 star price tag
    • dark rooms. tv didn't work and was not fixed, the antiquated aerial system no wifi tv. No information regarding the hotel in the room. 10 euros to book the gym
    • There were some issues with the facilities in the room, TV channels not working, light switches not working

+ Beautiful interior, convenient location.+ Delicious breakfasts, but not very varied.+ Quite tasty food in the restaurant.+ They allowed us to take photos in the hotel without prior reservation or payment, since we only needed 30 minutes. (apparently this is always paid normally)+ Check-in was quick. + The room was warm.

    - Very little storage space, no place for shoes, all our things were just lying around the room, even though the room was spacious, but there was little furniture.- The wait for lunch was about 40 minutes.- The spa is small, not cozy, consists of a small hammam, sauna, a small shallow pool and 2 loungers.- There are huge vases on top of the wardrobe, and to close the wardrobe you need to slam it shut. This is dangerous because the vases could fall on your head.- The plumbing in the room leaks.- Very little light, in the area where the kettle and coffee maker are located it's pitch dark, to see anything you need to use the flashlight on your phone.- Constant fluctuations in water temperature in the shower, sometimes boiling hot, sometimes cool.- For breakfast in the room they didn't bring butter, jams, or vegetables. Although all of this was supposed to be included.

Comfy bed, nice shower and a welcoming bar.

    The mini bar was empty.

The breakfast was typical hotel fair. Eggs, Cheese, Meat, Fruit! You could also order off a menu which we did and was lovely! The room was gorgeous roomy and extremely comfortable! Old world elegance!

    Everything was spectacular!

Great location, lovely building and decor Quality of the food. Check in team were great. Gorgeous room.

The service in the bar and restaurant was quite slow. My toast never came.. there was a ridiculous argument about whether the voucher they gave me covered my drink. Apparently a spicy tomato juice is a cocktail even though it has no alcohol in it so I was charged a ridiculous amount for it. When you have spent so much money on your room it’s unpleasant to have to haggle about the definition on one drink. This is semantics and I am a client not in a courthouse

very helpful staff, excellent breakfast and dinner - very useful valet parking service. Location is perfect and although in the centre of the city, very quiet. Fantastic decor.

I feel that they are close to perfection - but not quite so. In my opinion, organisation, attention to detail and a bit more experience in the dining restaurant would fulfil the promise of a 5 star hotel.

The central location, the beautiful lobby and lounge and the lounge and restaurant/bar staff who were exceptional.

The check in and the vulgar attempt to charge us for an unnecessary room upgrade owing to steps in the room which the check in receptionist pointed out would be unsuitable for my elderly mother.

Beautiful Hotel - Enjoyed the bar and restaurant area. Great staff, drinks, and food. The room was a suite and was perfect for the trip. Just one night but we would love to return for a longer stay.

Parking, bed and breakfast. Staff, interior design and location.

Need to book the bar just for a drink.

    10AlejandraPosted on: 11-4-2025

This was a great value - it was classy, clean, and comfortable. The staff was incredibly helpful. I didn't get to use all the facilities but the bar and dining were great.

    I don't have any complaints.

    Location in the history

Charging money for booking the swimming pool or the gym is not good also not having enough space to accommodate more than four people in the gym is not good. I think it’s time to invest more money in renovating Gym space and also charging for booking a swimming pool at £10 per person is not good..

Location, very nice historical, nice room with great city view. Very good breakfast.

    All was graat

The hotel has an excellent location - most of the time. It is historic and has some nice decor in the lobby.

On the day I arrived, there was a big event in that part of town that blocked off the entire front approach to the hotel. The hotel made no contact with me to let me know that the only way to get to them was from the opposite direction, which took me nearly two hours to navigate on foot (I would have taken a taxi had I known). When I phoned for help, they had no advice other than "ask the police to let you through," who would not open up a parade route for me.When I finally arrived, the person at reception argued with me for several minutes over whether they had sent an alert about the event (I showed her my emails to prove that I'd received nothing), and then upgraded me - which I would have appreciated except that it was done in the rudest way possible. Room was nice, but nothing particularly outstanding. I only stayed at this hotel because there was no availability at my usual Marriotts, and would not do it again.

Superb location in the heart of theHague

A bit disappointing to return the hotel at 11.15pm to be told the resident's bar was closed - poor staff awareness and training,

    Perfect hotel at Haag

Service in restaurant is terrible. Team are not working together. Waiter forgot to bring the main dishes

    7AlexandraPosted on: 9-24-2025

From the welcome at the door, all the staff were fantastic and looked after me very well. Felt a valued client.

My breakfast order as forgotten and then took a long time to arrive which caused me issues for attending meetings. When it did arrive, it was not particularly good.
