Everything! Beautiful hotel, rooms were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was good. They provided afternoon snacks as well. They even provided earplugs in the event that people were loud outside.

Very nice hotel and very centrally located. Room was clean and spacious. Despite being surrounded by bars and restaurants the rooms are well insulated from the noise.
The disadvantage of the location was that it was not easy to get to the hotel by car.
location was fabulous, bed was super comfortable, room was big, clean and comfortable, wifi was fast and the room itself was warm. the lobby had a nice seating area with free snacks, but it was quite cold to sit for any length of time.
all four pillows on the bed were very thick so i couldn't use them to sleep. the hotel was hacked over booking.com and i almost got scammed into paying again, but caught that something was off just in time. the scammers hacked right into the booking.com chat system so it looked like the dubious messages were coming from the hotel. but the second problem was that the hotel had their own chatbot which was sending messages at the same time as the scammer chatbot, which was super frustrating, because i kept asking to talk to a real person but both of them were going in circles assuring me someone from the hotel would contact me. the scammers also got my whatsapp number and were sending messages over that, and the hotel's chatbot sent me whatsapp messages too, so it was quite stressful to figure out what was real on the night before i was set to travel. i called the hotel directly, and they already knew about the hack and assured me they got my payment and to ignore it, but i would have appreciated if they had reached out to the guests as soon as they knew the booking system had been hacked.
Location was amazing, the check in and out process was really easy, and the hotel was lovely, clean and full of character.
Unfortunately the shower didn't drain away very well so it leaked out onto the bathroom floor a lot, and the bed was very uncomfortable - one side dipped so much it may have been broken.
Room was very comfortable, clean, affordable, and in the center
Entrance with code took a little while, however this was likely due to the last minute booking at late hours
Very clean and great location in the centre of the old town area. Nice bathroom and easy check in
Room only had one window
Location, room, facilities, staff, friendliness AND we booked the wrong date and they rebooked us on the spot with an upgrade, did not want any extra payment
Clean room and bathroom, cozy and chic style and great location
Bathroom must have been designed by a man, not a great space to get ready
Everything was just great — from the staff to the location and the overall services. The team even upgraded our room, which was a lovely gesture and much appreciated. The hotel is very calm and comfortable, even though it’s right in the heart of the city — a perfect mix of tranquility and convenience.
The only small downside: attention to detail when it comes to cleanliness. Some corners of the room, like the closet shelves and bedside table (where there was a water ring from a glass), could have been cleaner. Nothing major, but it’s worth improving for an otherwise excellent stay.
This is not a normal hotel. It‘s more like being part of a family. The staff ist very helpful and they create a cozy atmosphere. You can get cookies and tea in a living room, get some cheese in the afternoon and some sweets in the morning. They help you to park the car and even provided some treats to our dog which was welcome too. The room was big enough and everything was clean and functional.
The people doing room service are not up to the same level as the rest of the Palais family. But still ok.
The rooms are lovely, bright and well decorated. The beds are amazing! Extremely comfortable with quality linen and an actual duvet which is extremely rare in many hotels these days. You couldn't ask for a more central location and yet you don't hear the noise from the bars and cafés on the street level. The hotel is within 4 mins walk from a bus and tram stop that will take you anywhere in the city, including the beach and the Central Station which is very useful for day trips to Leiden, Utrecht, Gouda and Amsterdam. The open coffee station serving a variety of coffees throughout the day was greatly appreciated.
There is daily room service but on the 2nd day of my stay they literally only made my bed and changed the towels. The floor was dirty and the cups and glasses I used from the day before where left dirty. I had to clean them myself in the bathroom sink with hand soap and no face cloth. But this is a minor complaint and I would still highly recommend this hotel.
Nice staff, very good location, very nice toiletries
We had the superior room with terrace and we loved it. Very big bed and very comfortable. Friendly atmosphere in the common areas and great staff. Location is also amazing, right in the heart of the great shopping district.
Location in centre is really excellent with easy access to a vast range of places to eat and drink and most sites of The Hague
Location top-notch, really very well appointed, plush rooms and classy facilities, very friendly and responsive staff. Excellent value for money.
Since the hotel’s reception isn’t attended from 16:00 onwards, check-in after that is done via a “digital key”, with which on arrival I actually struggled. Once one manages to enter hotel and room, there’s a room key there which works flawlessly. Moreover, arriving outside reception hours requires checking in online beforehand. Shouldn’t be an issue, but I found it comparatively laborious. Finally, while I had pre-paid Booking for the room, the hotel charged me the room price on the day of arrival. The hotel acknowledged their “mistake” instantly, but I’m still awaiting to be credited.
uncompilcated and top organised place in the midfle of the symphatic old town. pedestrianzone. we arrived late, no more personal was there. but bot needed, top informed we had all the informations we needed. with dog no problem.
