- What a great find. Cannot beat the location. Place had character as an o historic building, yet was immaculately kept. Staff were all so friendly and helpful. Comfy beds. Room was small, but that's what you would expect in this location. Highly recomme
- Best location, and staff was very nice.
- Location is excellent! "Sunday dinner" at the BIT restuarant was excellent. Bike rentals right there was great, and easy process. Parking discount is appreciated.
Cons -
- The shower—water went everywhere in the bathroom. It got a bit messy!
- reception staff. they could not make a duplicate of room key for 3 times....in general they didn't look like very supportive. The bar linked to hotel has the slowest service you can ever imagine
- Bicycles for rent at the hotel are in need of maintenance.

Lovely people working there. Clean and comfortable room in nice location. Would recommend.
Clean, well appointed room! Friendly, helpful staff!
Bicycles for rent at the hotel are in need of maintenance.
Very good location. Close to the opera, the theatre, etc. The rooms are a good size and the beds comfortable. Good value for money.
We flooded the bathroom because of the configuration of the shower (no curtain and short glass partition). We also had a silly (back and forth) argument because although the 2 rooms were booked in my name and pre-paid by me, everything was then put in my (male) friend’s name although I flagged the mistake when I arrived. Irritating !
Staff was excellent. Great location. Clean, comfortable room. The hotel restaurant was decent. Loved having the option of paying a little extra for late check out.
We weren't able to shut off the lights in the bathroom- they were motion activated and so sensitive that just rolling over in bed turned them on. Also it would have been nice to have softer toilet paper.
The location is great, everything is nearby at walking distance
The room was quite small and there was a terrible smell coming from the bathroom
Very nice room, confortable, clean and quiet
The hotel had a perfect location in the heart of The Hague, walking distance to museums, shops, and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean, stylish, and comfortable. We also enjoyed renting bikes directly from the hotel for a day, which was very convenient.
Room cleaning was often done in the late afternoon, which wasn’t always convenient. Also, the rooms were a bit small and sometimes noisy due to the central location.
Excellent location near many restaurants, public transport, etc. Bed was very comfortable, and staff super pleasant. Good value overall.
The staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel is close to the shopping area and transportation. There are many nice restaurants and cafes also nearby.
Excellent location, hotel bikes to use if you want to travel around town, and warm, friendly helpful staff.
great location! nice old place. lively bar attached. staff very helpful. good bed. common areas very nice.
room not 'boutique' as promised. just a standard brown wallpapered room with window to light abyss. air conditioning blow straight to bed. very laud.glass door would be nice at shower to keep water out of rest of the bathroom.
The cleanliness and facilities were quite nice, the location was excellent. There was a nice restaurant / bar downstairs and it is very close to may restaurants and businesses as well. Location is very nice. Be sure to pay attention to the location of the room - do not face the back where the trash cans and workers are.
The first room we were placed in was facing the back of the building where trash cans were outside the window and workers from adjacent businesses worked making lots of noise early in the morning and late at night. The sound of bottles being thrown in the trash can was unreasonable. The management moved us to another room and it was very nice.
Great location
Noxious odors, poor daylight, cheap toiletries, ragged carpet, worst coffee
This is probably one if not the best Hotel in The Hague. Staff is friendly, location is perfect and also the building itself is gorgeous. Apart from that rooms are quiet, comfortable and with all needed and more. I stay here if it's for business or for resting.
All though the Breakfast, restuarant and staff are great I think it can have more variety. Equally, would be nice to have some snacks in the mini bar courtesy of the hotel like small cookies or chips...those details help if you need a late snack and don't want to really go nowhere or order room service for something small.
Staff all spoke excellent English and were very helpful.Within walking distance of the railway station, trams, busses and shopes.
No switch to control the bathroom light and fan, it was motioned controlled. Leaving the bathroom door opened resulted in the light and the fan coming on every time I rolled over in bed...because it detected the motion. Couldn't visit the bathroom during the night without the light coming on and waking me up more than I needed.
