    • The wellness centre was wonderful as was the buffet breakfast.
    • i did not like anything
    • A very good hotel close to the basilica in Eger. Nice, cleand and big wellness area, great buffet dinner and breakfast, great value for money.

    Cons -

    • i could even get in the hotel because nobody was there to open the gate or receive us for the reservation we ended up to locking for an other hotel after an hour waiting.for the owner or anybody to let us in .. also I did not yet received the full refund .
    • We chose this hotel for a weekend in Hungary, but our experience was disappointing. 1. **Parking** – On Friday, a private event filled the parking lot, leaving no spaces for hotel guests arriving later. We had to park in an unsafe spot. 2. **Noise** – The first night was restless due to a loud air vent near our balcony (room 212). The walls were thin, and morning noise from staff was disruptive. 3. **Massage** – We were misled about the massage; it was more of a light touch than the promised therapeutic experience. Staff lacked basic English or German. 4. **SPA** – The Finnish sauna was unavailable Saturday evening due to a "special program." 5. **Dinner** – While the food was good, not even water or tea was included—something we’ve never encountered elsewhere. 6. **Entertainment** – The hotel's London bar was fully booked by non-guests, leaving no availability for us. 7. **Staff Attitude** – At checkout, no one inquired about our stay. Despite the hotel's potential, poor management and lack of customer focus diminished the experience. We made the best of it, but wouldn't return.
    • The light in room was weak but the rest of facilities and space of room perfect ??

    1. The food, especially the breakfast, very rich in options and with quality products.2. The location is very close to the center (15min to the castle) and is in a quieter area.3. The room and bathroom were clean and didn't smell bad (although the facilities are not exactly new).4. The SPA wasn't that crowded, especially in the evening before closing. We rated it a 7 to avoid lowering the property's average, but after the first day, it felt more like a 3. ?

Recommending this hotel for sure ??

    Pleasant

Smell of cooking coming from the kitchen in the room. The wellness center was a little outdated. The food at dinner could be better and have more choices.

Good location. Food is quite good.

Dirty floors at the facilities in general, rooms were not cleaned at all during the 5 day period. We found out that cleaning has to be requested also hovering, cleaning, changing towels.

Centrally located. Clean with excellent facilities and staff professional and extremely helpful.

Room was on the small side but balcony was a plus.Didn’t like the see through glass door on the bathroom ?

The property was situated in the lovely park at Eger and also had access to the city’s thermal complex by foot and included in the price. The rooms were large and airy and quit at night. The whole building had been sympathetically restored to reflect its age. The spa complex in the hotel was small but offered variations. The restaurant was lovely and the food choices were great for both dinner and breakfast.

The curtains in the room were only for decoration so you couldn’t have darkness in the room. Nobody could see in though.

Central location and close to the Bukk NP

I paid for an upgrade and was given a small room with quite a hard bedThe hotel seems to used by elderly folk for Spa treatments The hotel seemed to run at least cost basis ie the lights were not on, the bar was dark

Nice wellness hotel in the city center, walking distance of the tourist highlights. Access to the park is a perk! The room is a decent 4 star room, good beds. The breakfast and dinner are good. The wellness is modern and nice, access to the thermal baths a recommendation!

The staff is ok, one should expect a friendlyer attitude, especially in the restaurant. The bathroom needs to be improved and modernized (showering turns the bathroom into a swimming pool)

Nice food, nice room, nice spa with terrace. We also got free tickets for Eger city spa.

What I loved mostly was HB option that I strongly recommend, I loved the dinners, every day were different, so many vegetables, meats, fishes, big variety of food, all were very very good and they were available until the end of the service. The same for breakfast. Congratulations to the Cook. I liked free tickets to external thermal bath, proximity to wonderful park. Staff was very kind and helpful. Hotel was clean.

Some equipment requires refurbishment but it's been already communicated in the description. No surprise

Tasty breaksfast and dinner, convenient location near city centre, big parking, lots of amenitites in spa zone

Room and pool lighting was a bit dim

    9VeronikaPosted on: 1-11-2024

My parents stayed there, it was their Christmas gift. They thought breakfast and dinner were great and really enjoyed the pools and the facility in general. It is excellently located in the middle of the city, close to everything. Clean also. They did say it is easy to get lost, the place is huge!

They only mentioned two things: their room was tiny (but comfy) and the toilet was very low. It would be great to have comfort-height toilets for the elderly.

    9DavidPosted on: 11-1-2023

Food, wellness, staff and room. Great hotel overall.

The minibar is a bit overpriced, the wellness facility is a bit smaller than expected (although the outside thermal baths are really close, and the hotel provided free entry). The shower doors were broken.

    8MarkPosted on: 10-4-2023

Location was perfect for walking to the city center of Eger. Breakfast and dinner were great and varied.

Even though we were in the newer part of the hotel, our room still needed a major upgrade, especially the bathroom!

Spa and Wellnes and the staff

The mattresses are too thin,so the beds are not really comfy

    2MilanPosted on: 8-17-2023

Hotel catering and wellness service good.

Big disappointment!1) the room was even one floor higher than where the elevator goes and accessible only by a narrow staircase. Absolutely unsuitable for seniors and all guests with luggage!2) The bed pushed into the corner without a bedside table, and without an aisle for the second person, in addition without a lamp and the possibility to turn on the light during the night.3) small windows, additionally blocked by a box for the air conditioner and a sofa without the possibility of a view outside.4) room lighting very weak and insufficient to read anything.5) Room service very poor, towels were not changed even once in the whole week.6) The toilet flush did not work properly and we had to call a repairman because the water stopped flowing completely during our stay. Despite the repair, the flush did not work properly and the water flowed.7) The shower panel was not attached well and the sliding door was falling out.8) Inoperative room safe

Large hotel with great SPA facility and excellent food. Great service provided by very nice staff (especially in the restaurant). Located right at the park, with direct (private) access. Very good value for money.
