The location is great. Probably the best hotel in town?

The restaurant staff are, well, stuffy. So much so, we never ate there! Lots of places elsewhere around town.

Maybe the best location in the city, literally next to the castle, in the absolute inner city. All the restaurants, confectioneries and souvenir shops are in walking distance. The hotel does have a small private underground parking.The room we had was nice and clean but pretty outdated. Despite the central location the hotel is quiet. The breakfast was OK, but really nothing special.

All in all a great spot for a city visit, but do not expect too much. Everything is a bit old fashioned. Most probably it was a top address twenty years ago, now the location and the small scale charm are the main highlights.

Central location. Free garage parking. Good breakfast. Spacious rooms.

There was an outdoor party that played loud music up to midnight. The hotel informed us about it beforehand but it was too late to change hotels since it was past the deadline.

Well cared, good cleaning, comfortable despite of not being a brand new property.

Breakfast could have more options including fruits. Still solid.

Really great location, nice staff and did what it said on the tin. Basic room but expected for the price.

The bed could have been a little more comfortable really and I'd have preferred to have ordered my breakfast on the day rather than the day ahead but relatively minor things! Thank you

Very friendly and helpful staff at reception. The hotel offers discounted tickets to the thermal baths which was nice. My room was super cute and cozy. Breakfast was excellent and was actually the best breakfast I had on my entire trip. Location was perfect right at the base of the castle and in the old town.

A plug in in the bathroom would have been nice for the hair dryer or perhaps a mirror somewhere in the room for when using the hair dryer. An offer to help with getting bags up to the room would be nice.

Lovely location! The staff is very professional and the rooms are clean with plenty of space to store your stuff in the front room. The breakfast was great, we visited Macok for dinner too. Appreciated the very clean shower cabin and the shower gel provided. There is a mini fridge to purchase from or to store your own things that need refrigerating.

They did not turn on the heating while preparing our room. When we entered the room it was so cold (it was winter), it took hours to properly heat up to a comfortable degree. The unit has 3 radiators but they were all completely turned down, greatly reducing comfort at first.Our room opened straight to the outside, not an inside corridor so we heard the other guests laughing and chatting around midnight in the courtyard.

Location, service, restaurant are very very good.

I stayed in 1 room, so there wasn't tea pot. It's little sad.

What every hotel stay should be - clean and pleasant room with comfortable bed, very helpful staff and great location. And their restaurant is exceptional.

This place is a gem. Everyone we spoke with at the hotel was so nice. The location can't be beat. The food was excellent. Great wine selection. Wonderful buffet breakfast.

I don't like the parking issue. When filtering booking.com I put free parking. When leaving I was asked to pay for parking my car. I don't like such situations and the offer should clearly state that there is a paid parking. The second situation is the resort fee. This is a tax that must be paid but nowhere in the hotel's offer is it stated that the resort tax will be added to the room price. To be clear - I am not criticizing the tax but there is a lack of information on this in the hotel's offer. I like fair play and this is not entirely fair play. Especially since it is an excellent hotel and should not have critical comments

It's in the amazingly beautiful location of the old city center, just right next to the castle gate. Beautiful and lively neighbourhood even at night.The whole apartment was spotlessly clean. The apartment was spacious and really cosy.

Everything. This hotel is the best in Eger. Great location, air conditioning, furniture, fridge, a lot of space, very kond personel.

The location was perfect. The breakfast choices were very good.

A great place to stay but we did have a few issues. It was an extra hot few days and the A/C could not quite keep up. We learned to cool the room down with the morning air and then close down the curtains. In room #4 the WiFi signal was not very strong but there was service. On our first day they the self-service coffee machine at breakfast stopped working but they gladly made our coffees on their super-machine in the kitchen. The next day the machine was replaced with an alternate the also had problems. We could only make espresso and then we could add what we wished. None of these issues were a big problem or would keep us from returning.
