Casa Birmula Boutique Hotel

Staff was wonderful, cheerful, polite, and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The room is spacious. Facilities in general are excellent. Location - a few stairs up, near the ferry to valletta , the bridge towards Senglea. Everything is wonderful.

The bedroom was exceptionally comfortable and equipped with good facilities. A generous bottle of water is provided for convenience. Additionally, the staff demonstrate a high level of professionalism, being both friendly and welcoming to all guests. The views from the rooftop pool were outstanding. Convenient location for the ferry to Valletta.

The rooftop pool was a little smaller than expected - more of a plunge pool. When I showered at 7.45 am there was no hot water.

Welcoming staff who knew what we needed.Most comfortable hotel/villa bed I've slept in for a long time.A mini bar (a sadly increasingly rare occurrence).A swimming pool with a view (though a bit on the small size).Will certainly look to book next time we go to Malta and stay for longer next time.

To many steps for disabled people which is not hotels fault,it's because most of the area are old listed buildings

Great location close to the ferry to Valletta. Staff was very friendly, helpful and communicative. Comfortable and large room with great furnishings. Coffee and tea available in the rooms. Great breakfast and a wonderful rooftop terrace.

The rooftop too could be replaced by a jacuzzi.

Beautiful accommodation full of charm in the old part of Birgu. The breakfast was superb and wonderful to have the use of the rooftop pool after a long day of sightseeing. Everything was very clean and the staff were extremely helpful.The location of the property is excellent being a 5 minute walk to the ferry across to Valletta and a 2 minute walk to the bus stop.Absolutely great.

We had a large room with a window looking into a courtyard and it would have been nice to have a sea view. The room itself was super though and the last one left at a great price so we can't complain. Daily cleaning and replenishment of toiletries was great and there was always bottled water available from outside of the room.

Fantastic small boutique hotel, great location, really friendly and helpful staff, room was spotless and comfortable, breakfast was simple but everything I needed. Bathroom was spotless and spacious. Flat screen tv that you could log into your Netflix or Amazon Prime account (which was useful on the first night as I had no sleep the previous night due to flight times). Fridge in room to chill a bottle of wine to drink on roof terrace in the evening!

If I was being picky I could say my room was a bit small, but I reserved a basic double room, was travelling on my own and had to alter my booking to add a night at short notice and they facilitated this without the need for me to move rooms.

Casa Birmula is a beautiful property, stunning original features and gorgeous sun terrace. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, breakfast each morning was delightful! Our room was very well equipped, just perfect for a short stay.

A very big bed for a good nights sleep. The quirky nature of the boutique hotel. Not too far from the airport, also close to the ferry to Valetta.

It was a really big bed, unfortunately the bottom sheets were a bit too small . That meant that we had too keep pulling them back into place, not to sleep on just the mattress.Even so there was a lift, there where too many steps to negotiate.

The hotel was amazing, staff friendly and very accommodating and location perfect. An added bonus of having a water dispenser on each floor was excellent and saved having to carry bottled water. Thank you so much.

Clean spacious room with TV with some English channels. Nice terrace at the top of the building with good views around. Good breakfast. Nice location. Entry was also easy. Very good rating. Would recommend if you wish to stay in this location. Preferred this hotel to Snop House.

Room I had (Gozo) had no external windows only a balcony door leading onto an interior balcony. The staff started to prepare breakfast at 6am and the noise travelled directly up to my room so woken up a bit earlier than I would have liked.

Location is excellent as a base for exploring Malta as well connected to transport Maureen and colleagues were very friendly and hardworking to make our stay comfortable Gluten free bread was available after I mentioned when booking which shows the thoughtful attention to detail and responsiveness

TV kept saying no signal but we just ignored that and pressed menu and it worked anyway

Very good place where to stay in Malta. Not in Valleta - too much tourists, but in the Three cities, namely in Birgu

Breakfast was loads of choice with eggs cooked to order, cereals , bread, cold meats, cheese and fruit available.

The staff make casa birmula, they are so friendly and attentive, they make you feel like an old friend whilst still being professional , the hotel is spotless and it’s an easy ferry ride to Valletta
