I like the space in the room, and also the heating part, friendly people and nice area that close to the shop and other venues. Not really expensive for one night but you can adjust your payment in the future, that would be fantastic. Beds are ok as well but little bit weak, it is not a big problem.Overall the place was very good to stay in whatever time that I can come back to Balclutha. Great service and friendly staff.Thanks very much for looking after us properly during our stay in your venue.

Not much, everything was all good except the bed, they are a little bit weak and soft.

Parking area is gravel so could be noisy when people left early (tradies).

Pauline was lovely. The room was great, very clean and no noise. I've stayed throughout Balclutha and I'd say this is the best. Free washing machines.Lovely spa ? bath.

I am riding my bicycle around New Zealand and found this enchanted motel to stay at. The owner was very helpful in getting me situated in my room. The bed was very comfortable, the shower water hot, and the room quiet.

The hotel unit is clean, comfortable, and spacious.. it was great for an overnight stay. We were able to make a light tea and have breakfast which worked well for us. It is close to the main road and yet off enough to be very quiet.

Nicely clean room and bathroom with basic kitchen and supplies, the little welcome lollies were a lovely touch. Nice quiet location with a reasonable distance from town centre that we walked to and from on our stay.

The bed was not great, it was hard, and uncomfortable and for a motel the one thing you really want is a decent bed. A quick trip to briscoes for a matress topper would certainly help.

Clean, tidy and friendly service

Being in the back unit away from the road was good. The size of the unit was great.The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The shower over the bath was poor.The couches were uncomfortable.

Comfortable bed, clean room, handy location, easy to use laundry. Very chatty and informative staff.

Owners were so lovely. And the unit was exactly what we required, - a clean, comfortable place to stay overnight. And exceedingly good value.

Lovely comfortable accomodation. Had everything we needed. Great host. Very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. No charge for washing machine, powder also supplied. Nothing a bother to the host.

The staff were very helpful and the coffee was unlimited, not just restricted to packets! Even filter coffee ☕️, also a nice touch was the sweets on the side. Even the toiletries were a nice touch, individual ones!

the wifi quality was very poor. I had the outermost room in the "off-site area", and the noise from the side street was also annoying there:-(
