Maritim Fjordhotell

Hotel location with fjord view was very nice. Free included parking was great. Short walking distance to shops/grocery store/restaurants etc.Great breakfast included in room rate.

Dinner was extraordinary good. Fish. Served outside on the terrace overlooking the stream. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very central and quiet location.

My room was clean and with normal bed and bathroom. However the room (to the land-side) was more like what you could expect from an old spanish hostal : no coziness, carpets but a true plastic floor. Not what I expected to this prize

No air conditioner.but we did not need because the weather was very nice.Breakfast less than expected.

Wonderful hotel,friendly front desk service- provided a kettle for the room upon request,spacious superior room with balcony overlooking to river,decent breakfast,on site restaurant also very good ,free parking right in front of the hotel

No multimedia options on room TV,in general need more plugs in the room

Location: East walking to the town center, close to waterfront, nice town and beautiful weather :)Breakfast was full of choices. Free parking in front of hotel which is a big bonus considering very expensive parking all over Norway.

Room is very basic with limited amenities, no tea or coffee maker in the room. Breakfast food in small quantities often run out of food and had to wait for new supply. Overall breakfast service is not efficient.

Very comfortable rooms, lovely location by the water. Super friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant was lovely - very good meals and good value.

There was plenty of breakfast, and it was very centrally located. The staff were amazing!

The descriptions implied more luxury than why was experienced, which was disappointing given the price. Based on the interior, it could have been any hotel anywhere - nothing to reinforce the maritime name, which I found a bit surprising.

The location on the canal was awesome, close to town to walk around. We had fun playing shuffleboard the evening we were there.

The shower was a bit awkward to get in to in the small space

Super breakfast, lots of homemade alternatives. Warm dishes were nicely displayed and carefully prepared, which made them delightful and tasty. Friendly and professional staff, bartender was out of one ingredient for the requested drink, but created a drink similar to the one I wanted, with a very interesting twist. I will make them just like that from now on.Fresh facilities and comfortable bed. All you need.

Maybe a bit wider parking lots. No problem but a bit crowded.

there was no table in the room to put your laptop on and an empty minibar.

Super tidy and cozy room with astonishing view in the heart of the town.The breakfast was also a blast!

Breakfast ok

We didn't like that we had to book into the hotel electronically. We're of an age where we like to be welcomed by a human being and not left to use a screen. I can actually say if we had known this at time of booking we wouldn't have booked.

Breakfast was ok; the windows opened which was needed as the bedding too hot to sleep under.

The only bedding was a comforter - too hot to sleep under but at least we could open the window to help with heat. Would prefer a top sheet + light blanket.
