Excellent value for money and extremely friendly staff particularly Nawelle at the hotel restaurant

Dinnerl menu could offer more choices

The room was clean and big enough we had a balcony and access to the sauna at the first floor which was really needed after a long trip to La Baule. In addition we had free parking which was quite convenient. The quality of breakfast was good and fresh. The staffs were friendly at the reception desk and restaurant.

The Sauna was not reservable so we had to check several times to see if there is any free spots for us or not.

Chosen as it’s in La Baule, had availability and offered a late check in.

The awful staff I encountered on arrival. I’m a hotelier and would not recommend this hotel. Especially as a lone female. As a lone female returning from a long haul flight and drive from Paris to La Baule. I arrived around 11 PM. The hotel is located in an industrial part of La Baule. The gate is locked and it’s not apparent how to gain access. I rang to say i’d arrived, the man on the phone appeared to be laughing (sniggering) with a colleague whilst talking to me. The gates were eventually opened so I could drive in. Two men (still smirking) were on reception. I was given a room. When I got into my room the heating panel wasn’t working so I rang reception again. Again the men were laughing as I spoke. I stopped my call and went to reception to confront them. On arrival at reception I demanded to know what they found was so funny? Neither replied. By now I was annoyed.They said they had fixed the problem. I went back to my room and still it wasn’t working. I returned to reception and again. I asked for different room. They said it wasn’t possible. That it was again fixed. Again I went to my room. Still not working. Returned to reception again! This time demanding a different room which was then miraculously given. (There were only 6 other cars in the carpark!). Were the men being deliberately obstructive, intimidating and disrespectful? The room was spacious, showing signs of wear and not that clean. (I kept my socks on to walk around. Others hair in the shower, etc.)I checked out of the room early the next morning (by a very pleasant young woman). I found a much better place to stay for my following two nights!

Staff at reception and in the dining room very helpful and cheerful. Spacious , clean room .Large bathroom. Accessible shower. Quality toiletries. Large , comfortable bed.Sufficient pillows. Cosy quilt . Air conditioning available. Free bottled water daily. Use of a fridge in the room .Free car parking. A reasonable half an hour walk into the centre of La Baule .

Hotel location: not ideal amongst several industrial units . When sitting on our balcony we were in full view of workers in a manufacturing unit directly across the car park. Also were disturbed by the noise of them working . The curtains were not fully attached to the rails therefore difficult to close properly . I informed reception of this on our second day but it was not rectified before our departure. On arrival, when opening the fridge, there was a pungent smell which lingered on everything we put in?Breakfast was an extra, and expensive.

We had a very good stay. The staff are super nice and helpful, the room is well equipped, great surface area and a balcony. Highly recommended for those visiting the region.

The surface area of the pool is too small for a big hotel. Expect it to be packed with kids and adults. If you wish to dine at the hotel restaurant you should reserve the day you book i suppose. We tried reserving one morning and the restaurant was full that night and hosting a private event the next day so we couldn’t really benefit from its services.

Very relaxed atmosphere with good facilities and helpful staff.Pool was a bonus

A warm welcome to a modern hotel. Staff had perfect English and were very helpful. Would recommend. Really good size room with a balcony, perfect for evening drinks ?

Lovely restaurant - staff were brilliant and really friendly. Pool was warm and the kids loved it. Out of town location but didn’t feel too disconnected and the facilities and staff mean that you could easily just spend time in the hotel. Room was clean, spacious and modern. Bathroom and shower was exceptional. We felt well rested and well looked after.

The receptionist told us it was a 20 minute walk into the town centre, it was more like 45 mins. The location (and the one way system around the town) makes it a bit of a challenge getting j to Le Bailey and Pornichet.

Room size, excellent bed and bedding, excellent bathroom. Good facilities gym, sauna and pool.

Location is an unattractive (a run down industrial area) but it was still only a 15 min walk to the centre of town.

Specious rooms

Location is not nice, is located within industrial area which is not mentioned anywhere, pool is much smaller than in the pictures for more than 200 rooms.

It is a good hotel with nice facilities. The pool area was good with possibilities to have a drink. The room had a good size for 3 people. The breakfast was fine as well. Nice air conditioning.A walk to city centre/beach takes about 20 min.

The location but we were aware of it when we booked the hotel.

Not great location on what seemed an industrial park/grotty road - typified by view from our room!Reception gave wrong key/room to someone who entered our room - poor breach of security and staff (manager, non-English-speaking) seemed to think one ‘free’ breakfast would compensate; we eventually got €37 discount (2 breakfasts!) from an evening meal and drinks: not very good/no real recognition of security breach and will prompt an email to Louvre Hotels Group.Wouldn’t strongly recommend.

Very hard to get a taxi. 30 minutes walk to the beach. €10 beer ffs!

Spacious room, excellent shower, every new, very good deal for the money.

The location is a little far out. But I guess the other qualities outperform this downside.

Excellent could not fault. You have a good management keep it up will recommend to family and friends. The food was great and the pricing excellent it also had a friendly atmosphere. Waiter also helpful and friendly.

What was it not to like, keep it up we will return next time in your area.

Lovely big rooms and great shower room and separate loo . Seemed quite new so was clean

The swing door in the corridor outside our room - it banged and resonated in our room frequently . Also the pool was covered and not really open air . The main issue was the restaurant was closed as it was Sunday evening we were not aware of this until we had booked in ! There is nowhere nearby to eat so it involved returning to town in the car and after a long day driving this was not in our plan but we had no choice as we needed food !
