- Our family had a fantastic stay at Hotel Santo Amaro. Their family rooms has the perfect amount of beds for us and the hotel is in a convenient location within walking distance to the Sanctuary. One thing that impressed us was the cleanliness of the hotel, everything from the room to the restaurant and all areas of the hotel were sparkling clean! The beds were very comfortable and the hotel is quiet so we got great sleep while there. The staff is polite and helpful and the breakfast buffet was varied, our kids loved the selection of fresh fruit, pastries and more. We also enjoyed the outdoor patios where you can relax for a bit and have a coffee. We were sorry to leave this hotel as we had such a relaxing stay - we would definitely return!
- Very clean , friendly staff .
Cons -
- The mattress was very hard , we didn’t like the pillow . Not comfortable for us .
- Breakfast was great, missing some vegetebles like tomato, parika, but maybe this is only my problem because we are used not only to sweet-type breakfast in our country.Maybe the quality of cold-cuts could have been better.
- ExpensiveCleaners woke us up both mornings buy shouting and slamming doors outside of our room. The cleaner was also quite rude to my wife.

A bit run down. There are some things I have decided not to complain because the staff is so great. People that work there are the best the hotel has to offer.
