Hotel Unter den Linden

The hotel was charming and in a great location, right between the university and the lovely old city. Our room was a good size and had a good shower. Breakfast was wonderful, lots of delicious variety and even bacon and eggs to order.

Breakfast was excellent. There was a great variety of food, including homemade cakes and excellent choice of cheeses. The dining room was very bright and beautifully decorated. The staff in the dining room was very helpful and polite. Hotel reception was very helpful and welcoming. The hotel is a short walk from the city centre.

Cute hotel with comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast

The interior of the hotel is beautiful, and the room was very comfortable, clean and well designed. The staff was great, as always, and the breakfast was very good. The location was perfect for my needs, between the city centre and the university.

The room was comfortable and quiet; the breakfast buffet and coffee and cooked-to-order eggs were all perfect. The location was a convenient 5 min walk from the Steiner Tor.

It's hard to think of anything that could have been better.

Comfortable, clean room. Quiet. Hot shower. Good location, within walking distance of attractions and restaurants. Great breakfast.

Wi-Fi was terrible which used a mobile hot-spot which I was unable to connect using my iPad. Hotels in Germany and Austria have open ended shower stalls that get the floors wet. I wish they would use curtains or doors.

It was well-placed for the Danube cycle route and Krems itself, and offered a very comfortable overnight stay and good breakfast.

The hotel is in a very good location, very good base for exploring the Wachau region. Safe and quiet area of the town, walking distance to town center. Private parking, although not very big, but lots of public parking available nearby (paying though). The hotel is in a very good condition, everything very clean. Very kind owners and staff. Breakfast OK.

Rooms without air conditioning. We were there during heat wave in August and it wasn't very pleasant. It would be also nice if the hotel had at least a bar to buy some drinks during the day and in the evening. It has quite nice terrace/garden for sitting outside but no drinks... And it can be difficult to find a working store in Austria to buy anything on Sundays or holidays...

Staff was very friendly, located in the center of town, close to the Danube river and river front walk ways, excellent breakfast.

We had a very nice welcome from Stephanie when we arrived after a long bike ride along the Danube. Stephanie took the time to show us where we were on a map, recommend restaurants and even made us a drink. Breakfast was really good and served in a lovely dining room. The hotel provided safe storage for our bikes.

The staff were great, the room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was enjoyable and parking was easy.

The shower was a bit small for a person my size.

Location is excellent, good for exploring Wachau valley. However, the best thing about this place is breakfast and service. Absolutely spectacular, and great value for money. Great selection of most breakfast items and a la carte hot items. Truly enjoyed our short stay here.

Too little space for showering.

Very nice hotel which has been fun by a family for generations. Big rooms, great breakfast, and above all a friendly staff.

Disappointed that there was not a coffee maker in the room or a kettle for coffee or tea.I used the coffee machine near the breakfast room and I was charged for the coffee. Also I was told that if I take a tea bag I will be charged, then I didn’t.In my opinion this is called a lack of hospitability
