A great location. Close to one of the main lifts and ski rentals. Staff were very nice. Room was modern and well designed!!

A fabulous old property in the heart of the old part of Andermatt! The bedrooms were contemporary in design, cleaned and prepared every day which was excellent. The dinning area was lovely with plenty of character and in the evenings it had atmosphere, a real buzz ! The staff were superb and attentive! And as I am a Celiac catered for my every need at breakfast and dinner! Thank you, an excellent stay which we would recommend! We will be back!

Classic Swiss from the outside, very modern and comfortable room. Restaurant serves great food, breakfast is great - staff are friendly but very busy too.

Without a doubt, this was the best choice I made for staying in Andermatt. Starting with the location, which is central and offers privileged views.The bed is extremely comfortable, the shower is perfect, and the breakfast is very good, varied, and complete.All the hotel staff are kind and always smiling. I would especially like to thank a Portuguese lady who works at breakfast and a young gentleman who served us at dinner. Both made our experience even more special.I would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel.

Location perfect, near two main runs and great restaurants nearby.

Nothing it’s perfect. The only i think would be a nice touch would be to have tea and coffee available in the bedrooms.. that would not put me off booking again though!

Breakfast was good, what is to be expected at such hotel. However, at 9 to have no more meat cuts and only 2 slices of cheese is not great. Staff need to pay more attention.

Found a cold room and took 15 mins and 3 phone calls for the reception lady to figure out how to find the radiator knob and turn the heat on.Only 4 hangers in the room!Strange bathroom tap, cannot adjust water debit, only température.

Simply amazing property to stay at; best way to describe it— “magical.” Close to everything, can walk everywhere: ski lifts, restaurants, church, stores, etc. Ski/snow board storage available. Rooms are cozy, well maintained- immaculate!! Even a spacious shared family room to use. Restaurant is top notch- quite possibly the best in Andermatt. Absolutely can’t go wrong with Sonne!!

Great location! Dogs friendly is a huge plus.Modern and neat room with beautiful decorations. Great hiking and running trail near by.Nicola and the wait staffs were great. Convenient parking right in front of the hotel.

Deluxe room is still small. If ones traveling with more than one luggage might have to leave one in the car. There is no sleeping in pass 7am as church bell will start chanting loudly every hour after that throughout the day. Wish there would be a kettle and tea bags in room, small fridge would be amazing but again, room is small.Restaurant food was only okay, Parley soup was good but Swiss veal dish was over cooked and covered with thick dough that wasn’t pleasant to enjoy.

The Sonne was charming and wonderful. The rooms were decorated so beautifully and were warm and inviting. We loved our stay here.

Our greeting at the front desk seemed to be curt and problematic because the reservation showed a discrepancy in our rooms. It all worked out but I feel like it could have been handled in a more friendly manner.
